Bard on the Beach’s carnival-inspired take on Shakespeare’s turn of the 17th century romantic comedy lifts its shipwrecked material about mistaken identities and gender roles into a modern stage adaptation by Diana Donnelly. It’s another joyously fun stage show filled with dynamic performances that shine off the stage in the warm summer air under the big top. Full of the usual antics, the farce features plenty of tomfoolery, musical interludes, and plenty of circus spectacle.
- Anton Lipovetsky as Feste and company.
