Save the Date. (dir. Michael Mohan).

Mohan’s uncomfortable yet intriguing take on the romantic comedy is darkly amusing while being imminently watchable. Its young cast shines through with a fine leading performance by Lizzy Caplan as a neurotic heartbreaker and commitment-phob. Alison Brie, as her more grounded sister, plays a nice foil and continues to show her acting range. Martin Starr, Mark Webber, and Geoffrey Arend round out the quirky, likeable cast, exploring relationships, break ups, and generally being broken.
