Today, upbringing a child is much easier than it used to be in the past. I still remember my grandmother stories of knotting sweaters, socks, stitching small frocks, nappies at home to welcome the new member in the family. Small comforters, small pillows, mosquito net, caps, gloves, inners were made at home along with several spreads to wrap the child. The whole family used to be involved in the process to create a wardrobe for the baby.
