Has your character ever been someone’s boss? Write a scene where your character has to act as an authority figure to someone else. Does your character find it easy to tell others what to do? Or does your character struggle to be taken seriously? If your character finds it easy to be an authority figure, is there some other aspect of being a boss that your character doesn’t enjoy? What new struggles come with being in charge? How does your character overcome these struggles? Does your character miss the way things used to be? Could your character step down from being in charge? If she could, would she?
