Your eyes were filled with tears, as anger and sadness washed over you.

“Why do you keep lying to me?” You asked.

Chris glanced down at the floor. Wishing he could just cup your face and kiss you again. To end the on going fight. But he knew he couldn’t do this to you any longer.

“You never loved me.” You said, feeling the tears stream without warning. “Did you?”

He met your gaze, furrowing his brows. “Y/N, I meant everything I have ever said to you. I love you so much, it hurts.”

“Then why are you breaking up with me!?”

“Because you deserve better! You deserve someone who will be here for you. Who doesn’t leave you for months on end.” He exclaimed. “I just want you to be happy.”
