Newt Artemis Fido Scamander

Imagine Newt being protective over you.

You were both dressed quite nice, much different than when you were covered in mud and dirt from the messy beasts. It felt good to get dressed up every now and then. Especially with Newt. He was so handsome.
You were following a lead to find a very rare creature and it brought you to this pub in The Middle Of Nowhere, England. It was sketchy to say the least.
As Newt talked to his lead, you stayed back at the bar with a glass of soda in hand.
“Hey, pretty lady.” A strange hand wrapped around your waist making you fee very uncomfortable. “Whadya’ drinkin’?” You looked to see a very drunk man slurring his words.
You stepped away a bit, his hand falling away from you.
“Just a soda” you mummbled.
“Why don’t you let me get you a little loose?” He got too close that time, he was practically grinding on your hip.
“Please stop.” You tried to push him off.
“Oh, come-”
Before the drunken stranger could finish his thought, Newt slip in between you two, wand out.
“She said stop” Newt said harshly. The man just watched the wand.
“Yous thinkin’ I’m afraid of a cowardly Hufflepuff like you?” The man grinned at Newt, who was proudly wearing his worn Hufflepuff scarf.
With that comment Newts wand twitched sending a bright light that flung the man backwards, crashing into the wall.
Newt grabbed your hand pulling you out of the bar.
“What was that?” You yelled a few blocks away from the pub.
“A bad lead” He said quietly.
“No, I mean THAT."You pulled on his hand to make him stop walking. He looked at you confused.
"You told him to stop. He didn’t stop. I just… helped him a bit.” He shrugged his shoulders. You were speachless. The Newt you knew would never hurt a fly.
“Oh, come on (Y/N).” You must have been quiet for longer than you had thought. “I refuse to stand by and watch you disrespected. You deserve better.” He got closer to you and brushed your hair out of your face. You could feel your face get red.
“Now let’s get back, we need to find a new lead.” He kissed your forehead and you were both off again on another adventure.
