Day 15 in Romania after 275 days in Denmark! So, Tulcea…when I first arrived I though I came back to Denmark. Rain and bikes and some foreigners. Pelicam (International Film Festival) was on. It was my first event back in Romania and my first even in a while, for that matter. The first day was slow but I love those kids. They were in large numbers (I was unable to photograph anything relevant because it was very dark in the cinema), but I managed to sneak one photo in the back. It was a very calm and quite socially difficult documentary to get , but they were interested. Sure they checked their mobiles sometimes, but I know much worse adults. I dunno why everyone if all about “kids and their phones, omg they never walk outside”. That is such bs.They do far more that most people my generation and older. The problem is not that kids “these days” use more technology , it’s that socially impaired children rely on it and the parents can easily say that’s the problem. Human beings want to be social (in real life) and social media might have digital hugs, but not warm ones.
