This moment here still melts me.
I mean, Charming was so hesitant and suspicious of Killian’s motives with Emma, but here he’s spent the day with Killian after the ice cave-in, watching this man be a completely beside-himself wreck, mindlessly desperate to make Emma safe again, and he finally trusts Killian’s devotion to her.
Charming is a man who had to put his minutes-old baby in a tree with only a prayer that she’d be safe; he’s canonically haunted by failing to keep his daughter safe.
And then here she is in a life-threatening situation, and he’s come to trust Killian so much that he can hoist her into his arms with surety, like “Here, take your wife” without a second thought while he deals with the rest of the situation with Elsa. Because he’s completely confident now that Killian’s first priority is Emma’s well-being, and it’s just beautiful.
