Stella Divina Announces Involvement in Claremont Village Venture

CLAREMONT, (October 13, 2016) – Stella Divina announces their vendor acceptance into the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire for the third year in a row, furthering their involvement in the Claremont community.
The city of Claremont, Calif., celebrates their 35th Annual Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9-5 p.m. in the Claremont Village. The event produced by the Claremont Chamber of Commerce is projected to host over 15,000 visitors from surrounding areas and will not only be autumn’s largest arts and crafts fair in the Inland Valley, but also the largest Claremont event of the year. When it comes to unique holiday shopping, it doesn’t get any better than Village Venture. Guests can expect to enjoy a selection of 450 vendor booths exhibiting one-of-a-kind art, handmade crafts and much more. If shopping is not for you, you can enjoy great cuisine at the large food court that features an array of international fare and entertainment. This year’s scheduled entertainment includes a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade at 9:30 a.m. along with a Pre-Carved Pumpkin Contest to be judged at 2 p.m.
For the third year in a row, Stella Divina has been accepted by the Claremont Chamber as a vendor and will be selling their eco-friendly, handmade coasters at the event, alongside the hundreds of other local artisans participating. As a business with ongoing roots in Claremont, Stella Divina is proud to continue their involvement in the community through their presence in this year’s Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire.
Sarah Jo Antonucci, owner of Stella Divina and active member of the Claremont Chamber, is looking forward to the approaching event. “I love being a part of Village Venture because it allows me to connect with the Claremont community by sharing and celebrating the agricultural history of Claremont that we aim to preserve in our packing label coasters,” she said.
Although these regional, historic citrus packing crate coasters are one of the most popular designs for shoppers at Village Venture, Stella Divina also carries a variety of designs that cater to a wide range of interests. Some of the other popular designs include: prominent craft beer labels, vintage seasonal and agricultural designs, vintage travel ads and more. Each of these unique coasters are handmade by combining tiles upcycled from construction and demolition projects and high-quality, super-absorbent imported Portuguese cork. This eco-conscious approach to producing quality product stands at the center of the company’s intent.
Outside of this weekend’s festivities, Stella Divina products are available to Claremont customers year-round at Heirloom in the Claremont Village and two Sundays a month at the Claremont Farmers & Artisans Market from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Customers outside of the Claremont area are still able to view and purchase Stella Divina coasters on their website.
For those who are interested in attending the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire and browsing the Stella Divina coaster collection, the event will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9-5 p.m in downtown Claremont between Indian Hill Blvd to College Ave and First St. to Fourth Street. Stella Divina’s booth will be located in front of The Press Restaurant at 129 Harvard Ave North.
Admission to the festival is free and there will be a variety of transportation options available. In addition to the availability of the Claremont MetroLink station, free parking and shuttle services will be available throughout the duration of the event.
