So that’s it.
After over 700 episodes Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are no longer the centre of everything. The last episode of Shippuden ended just as normal. I was sitting there like ‘wait, what…’. It was done.
Iruka was the focus of that last episode. It was nice. It was nice to see that father-son bond he had with Naruto actually given some air time. He has always been there for Naruto, even standing on the sidelines. It was that part where Naruto asked him, I started blubbering. That was perfect
Yes there are things that annoyed me about episode 500. No team 7 reunion for one, but I was always aware of the case. It has been said for months Sasuke wouldn’t make Naruto and Hinata’s wedding. Fans had been hypothesising that Sasuke wouldn’t go just to be there, he still feels guilt over everything that has happened, he could feel he would have ruined Naruto’s big day. I would bet he would be there when Naruto becomes Hokage though.
Shikamaru and Temari were great, as were Sai and Ino. But as far as guests go, it was Rock Lee and Might Guy that stole that reception. They made my sad tears turn into happy tears. It was a rollercoaster.
It could have easily been a double length episode though. And that is my biggest annoyance. It ended awful abrupt, I suppose Hinata getting praise from her father was nice.
As was her comment to Neji. Neji dying is still one of the worst moments in the whole saga.
I just wanted more. But I don’t think anything would have been enough.
Multi Media Viewing
I am sitting at home right now, Eastenders is playing in the background as I write this post. And, this happens all the time. I spend a lot of time with the TV on, whilst browsing twitter or checking news articles. There isn’t a lot of programmes that can keep my attention. This isn’t anything new. A lot of people have the same problem, it is so hard to focus just one thing. I mean, even my mum…
