The day was going normal the case was a strange one though. All 6 of the victims matched your basic description. Y/H/C, Y/E/C and Y/H but no one except you seemed to notice that. All 6 of the girls had been raped then strangled which was the cause of death. Sitting at your desk you looked at the board. 

“Voight someone just dropped a body off outside” Everyone’s eyes darted to Roman and Burgess who were stood at the top of the stairs. You pulled our jacket off the chair and pulled it on to your body while running down the stairs with the rest of the unit. 

Standing outside, the air cold as you all looked at the barely conscious woman. Her head on a uniforms lap as she shivered away even with the CPD jacket draped over her. 

“I want a connection to all these woman” Voight said roughly. ‘Now’s a good time to speak up’ You said to yourself

“Erm I have a connection” You said loud enough so people can hear. Your partner Jay was looking at you seriously. “They all look like me Y/H/C, Y/E/C, Y/H. This makes 7 of them there was a serial rapist and killer while I was in vice he used to rape then kill people that looked like certain detectives. He only ever went after one detective in my 5 years but mind you he was only going about for 2″ You informed the unit avoiding eye contact from Jay. 

“Ruzek go find the files on this guy, Burgess, Roman go to med and phone me when she wakes up” Voight ordered “Everyone else back to what they were doing” You all walked back up the stairs and you walked into the locker room not noticing Jay following you. You sat down on the bench as you looked up at Jay who had what looked like to be tears in his eyes 

“I can’t lose you” He stated sitting on the bench opposite you. You furrowed your brows 

“Jay you aren’t gonna lose me. God damn it we all know I’m too stubborn to die” You joked in hopes to lighten the mood

“That’s definitely true”
