Day 1 - The moment they became my OTP
I suppose it may be unusual, but I became Keenler shipper only in season 3. Before that i’ve watched first two seasons at once and I didn’t have any shipper’s interest. The moment when I fell in love with Keenler was episode 3.02. Ressler’s iconic words “I can’t let her go”, their looks at each other and epic scene when Ressler went after Liz’s car to save her - I was just speechless. This man - perfect FBI agent - didn’t care about conflict with another country because of her, because she was in danger and he went to save her without any hesitation, he risked his life, his career, safety of the country because of her - for me it was the most romantic scene I’ve ever seen.
Could you give us a list of your top 7 Keenler episodes/moments please?
Oh..this is super-hard. To be honest i have no idea how to choose, so here are just some of my favourite Keenler episodes/scenes:
1. Episodes 3.09 - 3.10 I love everything in this episodes. How Ressler didn’t sleep just to keep Liz safe, scene with Ressler’s jacket, how Liz was looking for his support to sign those papers and he supported her with his look, how he called Red, how realized his mistakes, how he said “i’ll keep you safe, i promise” and kept his promise, how he saved her from the bullet. Real white knight for Liz, so beautiful Keenler.
2. Episode 5.08 The way Ressler treated Liz, Keenler hug, scene how he was looking at Liz in the hospital - i drowned in Keenler feels.
3. Episode 3.02 This episode will always be something special for me, because after i saw it i fell in love with Keenler. Ressler’s “i can’t let her go”, “i know you”, Red’s “Ressler wasn’t trying to kill you, he was trying to save you”, the way they saved each other while Liz thought he was trying to kill her and Ressler had to hunt her down. He didn’t care about the possible conflict between countries just to save her. Yep, they killed me with this episode.
4. Liz’s birthday scene Beautiful romantic Keenler, what can be better?
5. Episode 4.02 I’m in love with Ressler’s look at Liz when he saw her in summer palace after her “death”. There was everything in that look. And the hug - just wow
6. Episode 1.20 Liz came to Ressler’s place!! Repeat - Liz came to Ressler’s place! What should i do to see something like this again???
7. Episode 1.04 Keenler first hug - it’s very special scene.
Yes, season 4 is hard for Keenler, but still we have:
1. the most beautiful and the most emotional hug in the whole season I’m telling this not even like Keenler shipper, i’m telling this because it’s true. I mean Liz really didn’t show many emotions this season, but look at her in this scene.
2. the most touching moment All scenes on the benches in this episode were amazing, but when Liz said “I know, you’re worried about me..” and the way Ressler reacted on her words - oh..my Keenler heart.
3. the most emotional moment with looks at each other Ressler’s eyes basically said “I love you”. One of the best moments EVER *_*
4. the cutest and the funniest moment This scene was absolutelly amazing. Ressler saved the day and Liz was smiling :D
5. Donald “i care about Liz even when i have my own problems” Ressler Oh..it was sooo beautiful. *_* Ressler always cares about Liz. And look at her - she’s smiling (and her smile costs a lot in this season).
6. Donald “i’m not leaving without her” Ressler Amazing scenes with Ressler and it was soo Keenler. This man will do anything for Liz.
What i wanted to say that Keenler is still there. We had really beautiful and meaningful moments despite the hard times.
I was so happy to see them working together again. All their scenes were incredibly beautiful. And of course Liz’s “I know you’re worried about me, and i appreciate it.” - oh..my Keenler heart ❤️
