Happiness (2011) It’s funny I’m working retail and this comic I drew six years ago still applies. My boss the other day asked if I was motivated (or happy). I told her no. She looked at me like I was crazy. Why would I be happy or motivated at a job that means nothing to me other than a paycheck and allows me to be home with my daughter during the day. Yes I work hard, but that’s cause they pay me. It’s also hard to show up to work everyday. Happiness is great, but overrated. You should be happy, but not everything should bring you happiness.
