Even after keeping goldfish for around seven years now, they still amaze me. They are amazing creatures, and they continue to teach me so much.
Evangeline has been looking so poorly these last few days … lethargic, bottom-sitting, not eating, not swimming … I was pretty worried for her, things really weren’t looking good. So, I gave her a salt bath every day for the last three days, even though it didn’t really seem to be benefiting her at all. But, lo and behold, I came down this morning, and she was swimming around and rummaging around in the gravel like nothing had ever happened.
Goldfish are resilient. They are such pure and simple life, and the most wonderful teachers. I will never stop learning from them.

Exploring Goldfish Street today made me miss the kids back home 💛 I picked up lots of treats for them while I was there (spoiled piggo’s). Hopefully one day they can grow to be as big as the goldies I saw today ✨🌱⚜ #g

Took the kids outside for a nice little photo shoot in the garden. I’m sure more photos will follow at some point! But for now, enjoy these ones :)
In case any of you were wondering, the kids are doing fabulously. Herb & Evie (the white and red fancy, respectively) turn 5 years old next month! Baby Earl (the common) will turn four in October ^_^
