No responsible media outlet should publish Wikileaks hacked emails because we know they were stolen through illegal means (not via a whistle blower).
Media outlets who want to be regarded as respectable should ALWAYS consider hacked information off-limits; the way eBay considers stolen goods listings unacceptable and how Sotheby’s will not try to auction a painting for which the provenance is in serious doubt.
And people in the media wonder why their integrity and credibility is in doubt.
