A few years ago, Publishers Weekly ran a story: “From Print to Pumpkin”, which featured a school project librarian Esther Frazee asked of her fourth grade students. The assignment was to decorate a pumpkin that represented their favorite character from their summer reading, and look who made the cut! The Fone Bone pumpkin won the award for ‘most creative use of materials’. WE LOVE IT!
