I fucking love Admiral Helena Cain. And I love her because Michelle Forbes was so fucking good in the role. She just came in and was Admiral Cain. There was no growing into the character. When she stepped off that fucking raptor you knew who the fuck she was. Michelle Forbes just exuded such power and steadfastness. It wasn’t the uniform or the ship or even the title. It was her. And she was even better in Razor! Look at that picture up there. That’s the face of a fucking high ranking military officer.

I personally think she’s the most interesting fictional character of Battelstar Galactica. There’s a reason behind every difficult choice she has made. Behind every of her actions there’s a heartbreaking past and a craving to save human race, nothing less. I think there are way more to say than a simple “I hate her, she was so cruel”…
