You woke up as the mattress dipped beside you, your eyes fluttering open to see Ruby looking down at you.
You smiled despite yourself.
“What’re you doing here?” you mumbled, and she smirked.
“Oh, I don’t know,” she teased, “I turn up in your bedroom in the middle of the night…”
She trailed of, shrugging slightly, and you laughed, pulling her down to lay beside you.
She kissed you firmly, pulling back and grinning.
“Glad you got the hint.”
