Imagine: Obi Wan Kenobi admitting his feelings for you.
For anon…. I hope you like it!
There was a smash and the unnatural cry of an angry Rancor. You heard Obi Wan scream and you turned around to see him dueling with the massive beast, slashing at it with his icy blue lightsaber. The monster cried out in pain as the Jedi cut a deep gash in it’s claw-like hand. It recoiled and snarled, slapping the lightsaber out of his hand and sending him flying into the hot sand of Tatooine.
“Obi Wan!” You screamed, fumbling for your blaster and shooting blindly at the Rancor, making it roar in pain. It turned and advanced on you, shuffling along the sand due to it’s short legs.
Now was your chance. You aimed your blaster at the beast’s head and shot at it rapidly, aiming for the only unarmored area of it’s body, the mouth. It roared again and you shot at it, the laser blasts burning the back of it’s throat. The monster screamed in pain and started to sway dangerously. It’s beady eyes were set on you and for a fleeting moment, you thought it was going to attack you.
The Rancor fell on it’s side with hulking thud, letting out one last ragged breath before it’s life drained away.
You stood still for a moment, unable to come to the realization of what just happened. You saw Obi Wan sit up and you immediately snapped out of it. You ran up to him, grabbing his lightsaber along the way.
“Obi Wan! Are you okay?” You asked urgently, dropping to his side. The Jedi had a bloody scratch along his leg but it wasn’t as deep as you thought it was. Besides a couple more scrapes and bruises, he was fine.
“It’s just a flesh wound.” He remarked, winking at you. Obi Wan tried to heave himself to his feet but his leg forbade him to, sending him stumbling back to the ground.
“I’ll call for Anakin.” You said, your hand diving in to your pocket for the tiny radio Obi Wan had given you that morning.
The Jedi nodded and took your hand in his, squeezing it tightly. You looked at him, smiling.
“You’ll be fine.” You reassured him, finding the radio and fishing it out of your pocket.
Obi Wan gently pushed it away.
“You saved my life, Y/N.”
“You would do the same for me.” You replied.
The Jedi smirked.
“Yeah, I guess. Listen, I have something really important to tell you and I don’t need Anakin on the radio listening in.”
He took the radio from your hand and put it in his own pocket.
“What is it, Obi Wan?” You asked, confused.
Without another word, the Jedi leaned forward and kissed you, holding your face in his hands. You kissed him back, smiling slightly as he fondled with your hair. He moved your mouth with his, softly and slowly.
The voice of Anakin Skywalker interrupted you both. You could hear his staticky voice over the radio and you drew away, laughing. Obi Wan grinned at you and lifted the radio to his lips.
“We’re all fine here, padawan. We just got in to a little skirmish with a Rancor but it’s nothing we couldn’t handle.”
Anakin replied sarcastically and announced he was coming in his speeder with medical supplies. Obi Wan responded to this with a dramatic eye roll, making you barely suppress a laugh.
The Jedi winked at you again and hung up on his apprentice.
“Now, where were we?”
