made a new discord. maybe accepting new people on it. idk yet. trying to avoid drama llamas but they keep running after me like i’m a fucking meal or something. 

although this is a newer blog, i’ll probably be making a new one as well. i’m starting to feel highly uncomfortable with some information i’ve found out about regarding a specific person. it’s uncomfortable knowing that my friends and i are being watched by someone that’s toxic and shitty. (this is kind of the reason why i haven’t really been on the dash much)

Oh. She hadn’t even realized that Daisy may have needed that extra bit of reassurance that everything was absolutely amazing between them. But she could understand why she might have reservations.

“I’m happier than I’ve ever been before.” Jennifer confessed brightly, shifting and scooting closer. She slipped her arms around to Daisy’s back and leaned their foreheads together softly. “You have me all to yourself for the weekend and you’re leading with that? What’s going on in your head?” She asked, pulling back enough to press a kiss against Daisy’s forehead. Although her first instinct had become to profile, she had learned separating her job from her relationship with Daisy did work out quite well for them.

If you’re sleeping with someone else, some historical figure or Constantine or…I don’t even know…then just admit it!” Lena shouts, crossing her arms. “I’m not going to keep dedicating myself to trying to make this work with you, when as of late all you’ve done is treat our relationship as an easy outlet to blow off steam with sex. Call me when you’ve decided to be honest with me Sara Lance, but I don’t need this.”

As she shifted uneasily in her seat, a smirk pulled at her lips and Sara leaned closer over the table. “You really think that I’m sleeping with someone else?” She rolled her eyes and scoffed a little. Sure, she had been pretty closed off with Lena. It’s not like relationships came naturally to her anyway, but she had been trying with Lena. She’d been trying so fucking hard. 

“I’m sorry if you feel as though I’ve been... I don’t know, emotionally checked out the last few weeks.” She was scared. They’d been doing this for awhile now, a little over six months it seemed. Things were getting serious, even if they still had a significant amount of distance to deal with. When she was having a shitty day, the only person she wanted to talk to was Lena, whether it was possible or not. “There’s not somebody else. You have my word, Lena. I’m just,” She took a slow, deep breath and licked her lips. “Instead of talking about my feelings, I bottle them up instinctively. We’re good at the physical side of things, but you’re right: if this is going to work, then I need to be honest with you. I care about you, a lot, and it fucking scares me.”

Taking a few steps back, she dug into her jeans pocket and dropped down to one knee, popping open the ring box. Inside, a shimmering gold band with diamonds set from the centre down around a twisting braid caught every fraction of light around them.

Then Carol stepped back out from under the dry haven, letting the pouring rain completely drench her. She ran a hand through her short hair and shrugged. “At least my hair’s not super long anymore, right?”
