So...I reread that story and...I don’t like how I wrote it. The pacing seems weird to me, the character is kind of...boring, I don’t shorten anyone’s name. It’s a lot.

So, to the anon that asked me to continue it: yes. Yes, I will still continue it but...I need to revamp it or something. I don’t know if I should just take down the old ones...and redo it. Or should I reblog/edit the originals? Idk. Let me know which sounds better

You'd stopped drinking about an hour ago but your head was definitely swimming. Hoseok had been laughing and smiling for the past 10 minutes. Jimin's speech slurred every so often and his eyes were slightly lidded. Jungkook had passed out with Tae in Jimin's room about 15 minutes ago. Yoongi...well, you couldn't really tell just how far along he was. Rather than looking drunk, he somehow managed to just look tired.

“I really wouldn’t have expected you to come here” Jimin laughed, face reddened. Yoongi tilted his cup, drinking the last of whatever fruity concoction Hobi had mixed. He put his empty cup on the floor beside him.

“Why not? I’m getting to know you guys” Yoongi answered.

Jimin's smile quickly slid into a frown and he covered it by taking a sip from his cup.

"Getting to know some a little better than others," he grumbled, finishing the last of his drink. There was a slight pause as you stared at Jimin. Obviously, he was referring to you. Even if it was just a hint of it, you could hear his jealousy seep out. Hoseok must've heard it too because he seamlessly came up with a cover story.

"Yeah, we've seen you with Amanda-" Hobi teased, nudging Yoongi's arm. 

"-well, you have her until Jungkook comes around" he laughed. Yoongi didn't seem to notice the light tension in the air and you mentally thanked Hoseok.

The banquet had started at 6 pm and here you were, 5 hours later, still in the church. At least everyone had pretty much cleared out. Then again, the majority of the members were in the older crowd. It’d be weird if they were still hanging around after 11 pm. At this point, only Jimin’s family, Hobi, Amanda and the clean-up crew were left with you and Yoongi.

“Jungkook, I haven’t seen you in so long” Amanda beamed. Jungkook grinned and opened his arms, inviting her in. She gladly walked into his hug and pressed herself against him. You rolled your eyes and immediately yawned.

“So, he was the key this whole time? He should come around more often” Yoongi said, walking to your side. He had one hand in his pocket while the other ran through his hair.

“It’s almost like you don’t exist anymore” you teased. 

Before Yoongi could craft a witty response, Jimin clapped loudly from across the room. “Are we staying here all night or are we going out?” he asked. Hobi smiled and Jungkook turned his head, clearly interested.

“Jimin, go out where? It’s nearly midnight and we all need some rest before church tomorrow-” his mother scolded. Jimin’s father placed his hands on her shoulders and lightly massaged them. He kissed the top of her head and quietly said something into her ear. After a few seconds, she rolled her eyes and sighed.

“You guys should have fun. You haven’t seen each other in a while-” he paused. You smiled to yourself, knowing that he’d just stopped her from going on the rant of a lifetime. 

“-Jungkook...if you’re going to go, be careful and stay with Tae in Jimin’s room tonight” he continued cryptically. Jungkook gave a slight nod and you looked away. Going out? It was an accomplishment in itself that you’d made it 5 hours without letting his relationship slip.

“Fine, but be ON TIME for church tomorrow” their mother added, letting Mr.Park guide her out of the room. As he passed by you to reach the exit, he slowed down.

“If you go out with them, make sure my children don’t kill each other, please?” he asked. You nodded and he smiled. 

“Again, it was nice to meet you” he nodded to Yoongi. 

“The pleasure is mine” Yoongi responded with a smile. 

As soon as they left out, Hobi raised his hand as if he were in school.

“Bar? Or do we want to just hang out at the dorms. We have plenty of space in our room” he called out. You rolled your eyes but smiled. It had been a while since the boys hosted a little party at their place and you had to admit that you were interested.

“___?” Yoongi said lightly, closing your bedroom door behind him. He walked over to your side of the bed and took a seat on the edge.

“___?” he called again, this time shaking you a little. You heard the sound of a bag rustling and you groaned before turning your head enough to look at him. Yoongi looked into your eyes and made a face.

“You look horrible. Worse than yesterday” he said. You rolled your eyes and stretched your arms, immediately regretting it. You were so sore. So sore, in fact, that for the past day or so-- you hadn’t moved much from this very spot. 

You winced as you sat up and sniffled. 

“Good morning” you said groggily. Yoongi gave you a pitying smile and reached over to grab your water from the nightstand. He dug in his bag- the culprit of the rustling from earlier- and pulled out a new box of medicine.

“Courtesy of your delightful pain-in-the-ass of a boyfriend” he said, handing it over. You smiled and took the box from him. 

“Pain in the ass?” you asked, struggling to open the box. Yoongi watched in horror as you nightmarishly fumbled with the box’s flaps. After a few seconds, he took it from you, shaking his head as he opened it easily.

“Yes, since you’ve forbidden him from coming here until he worked out his issues with Namjoon-” Yoongi paused. He dug into his jacket pocket and rolled his eyes before turning the phone around to you. You smiled and took your medicine as Yoongi answered his FaceTime request.

“Yes? What do you need?” Yoongi asked,

“How does she look?” you heard Jungkook say. Yoongi looked from his phone to you and you quickly gave him a thumbs up.

“Much better than before” he lied. There was a pause and you put your water down.

"Okay. Uh… this brush, a handful of scrunchies, these clips...am I missing anything else?" Jimin asked, laying everything out on the bathroom countertop.

"Um, a spray bottle? Oh, and grab that jar that says, 'hair mask' on it" you instructed. You used your left hand and adjusted the pillow on the seat. Jimin nodded and quickly shuffled out of the bathroom to search for the supplies. You looked at yourself in his large mirror, thankful that he had a stool tall enough.

"Got it" he said, walking back into the bathroom. He set everything out across the counter and looked them over.

"Do you really need a spray bottle if your hair is already wet?" he asked. His eyebrows knitted together as he screwed the top of the bottle off.

"Trust me, you'll need it. Fill it with warm water" you smiled. He shrugged and turned on the water. As he waited for a specific temperature, you slid the towel around your shoulders over a bit and wiped a drop of water from your face. With the bottle now filled up, you were ready to begin your instructions.

"Okay, so we're going to separate into four sections like we did earlier and clip them away" you gestured. In the reflection, your eye gravitated to the brace around your right wrist. Man, this thing was getting itchy.

"It sucks that this is the only way we can go on dates" Taehyung said, adjusting his camera. His face was now centered on the screen and you smiled. Today was your fifth date with him after finding one another on one of those dating apps. With the whole world stuck in quarantine, dating had been incredibly difficult.

All of your flirting was done through a screen. You'd only ever heard each others' voices through your earbuds. Plus, since you'd only met Tae after the shutdown you still hadn't been able to meet in person. Every interaction was held simultaneously at your dining room table and in his home office over the computer.

"Yeah, I know. We probably would've never met though if all of this didn't happen" you said, gesturing around you. He smiled and sat back in his chair, ruffling his hair a little. Today, he wore it a bit on the messy side. His hair was significantly longer than in his profile but you assumed that, like everyone else, he was unable to get a haircut right now. It definitely wasn't a complaint. If anything, the longer hair just added to his overall sex appeal.

"That's true. It would've been a shame if I never got to meet such a beautiful woman" he answered smoothly. A smile washed over your face and you sat back in your chair as well. He definitely was a charmer, always knowing exactly what to say. Charming and sexy-- damn. It was bad enough that you hadn't had a date or sex in months. Then, to find someone like him, and to be denied the opportunity to even kiss him-- that was cruel.

"Five dates and I haven't gotten so much as a kiss yet" you complained. Taehyung laughed lightly.

"A kiss is a date one or two type of gesture. We are way behind" he retorted. You raised an eyebrow and adjusted your shirt without thinking, showing a little more of your breasts.

"Way behind?" you teased.
