Pick 10 thingie I got tagged in so long ago I’m a terrible person for not doing this sooner I’m so sorryyyyyyyyy. <3
I got tagged in this weeks ago by @nurselaney and I totally meant to do it, but it slipped my mind.
rules: pick any10of your fics, scroll somewhere to the mid point, picka10 lines, and share it! Then tag10 people. any number of people you feel like tagging.
This is more than 10 lines, but it’s from my unpublished Eddie Munson/OFC fic that will remain unpublished but it’s the only thing I’m writing currently, so enjoy! <3 Her name is Sam(antha) and I love her. If you don’t, I don’t really want/care to hear. ;) Also many thanks to @hollyspacey for listening to me screech about this and reading everything I sent to her. <3 Also to @thestanceyg who doesn’t even go here, but still listens to me scream about it. <3

As it turned out, she couldn’t, but as they pulled into a parking spot, she stayed put while Nancy and Steve got out, the kids following and leaving her in the van.
Her… and one other person.
Eddie was still here, and she turned around the second the doors had shut.
“You cannot take him in there with those bats.”
Not missing a beat, he replied. “It’s sweet you’re worried about me, but you don’t have to refer to me in the third person.”
Sam sighed. “Dustin.”
“Ed-die, I’m Ed-die, remember?”
She pressed her lips together, closing her eyes to take a breath before continuing. “I’m going to need you to be serious for the length of a conversation.”
“There are a lot of people who have been waiting so much longer than you for that to happen, so get in line.”
“Please?”
“Well since you asked nicely, I’ll do my best.” He looked around before disappearing below the seat.
“What are you doing?” she asked as she heard thumping and the van shook a little.
“Being sneaky. On a completely unrelated note, this is the cleanest van floor I have ever seen.”
Frowning, Sam peered back behind the passenger seat to see Eddie scooting on his back until he was perpendicular to the middle seat, staring up at the ceiling.
He abruptly turned his head towards her, grinned, and waved.
