For those who wanted to see the pictures I received along with a very kind letter from Princess Madeleine’s lady-in-waiting! I’m so happy!
Almost forgot to post about this. Last week a reply arrived in my mailbox again (or better said was handed to my mum after she signed for it). This year the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall picked a picture taken by Mark Cuthbert for their anniversary reply. This is the second time Camilla has replied to me personally. Things like that make it even more fun to write to Royals.
It’s Royal Mail day again
ok I have a question. I wrote to will&kate and harry. but the website I got the address from said to mail them to Clarence house but yours says Kensington Palace. will they still get them?
Yes, they will still get them. No worries. I've seen people sending their letters to them to Buckingham Palace and they still got it. The palaces are connectedcwith each other very well when it comes to mail, so they're always able to exchange things. If you feel more comfortable with writing to Clarence House, that's absolutely fine (and maybe even more right) but I haven't had any troubles with the KP address, that's why I listed it :) Happy mailing!
Happy 90th Birthday to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, born on 21st April 1926
One had the funny idea to change the layout of the birthday card completely. Well :D
Of all the letters and cards you sent to royals across the world, who had the nicest and more personable reply?
Well, first of all I have to say, I’m happy about every reply I receive. Even if it’s just the most simple thing.
But, to be fair, if there would be an award for the most personal reply it would definitely go to the Duchess of Cornwall who, if she finds the time, replies personally to cards and letters. And I consider myself more than happy that she found the time to answer my letter last year.
Another thing which to me always makes the replies more personable is, when the message is written like “I’d like…” “We want…” and not “His Royal Highness asked me to…” if you know what I mean. Based on that some of my faves are also the replies from Carl Philip & Sofia (for engagement and wedding), the Christmas cards of Albert & Charlene and Felipe, Letizia & the girls and also the reply from Andrew/Sarah that I’ve received last year.
And I would also like to mention the ladies-in-waiting of Queen Elizabeth II (who so far always wrote the replies as personal as possible and really based on what I wrote) and the office of Queen Margrethe II. who wrote the reply in my native language.
But again, every reply you receive is something special, no matter how small it is. And it’s always exciting when there’s a new envelope.
Okay, this answer came out way longer than I had planned that. Sorry about that.
Finished the card for little Prince Oscar's birth. It'll get a light blue inlay with my text on it before it's send out.
Sneak peak into the production of the card for Prince Oscar...
It's so cute. And the picture (printed on real photo paper) has an amazing quality. Sadly without little Amalia but still my favourite Luxembourgish reply.
Sometimes, waiting a little longer is so worth it...
The last reply from Luxembourg is by far the loveliest of them all.
Well, it seems its never too late for a Royal Christmas reply.
Thank you for 90 followers!
I’m so happy you enjoy this blog.
Does anyone know the address for Victoria and Daniel so that I can send them a card !
Search here, @letters-royale has all the addresses listed :)
Thank you for mentioning me :)
Does anybody know if Norwegian RF replies to the letters and birthdays wishes?
I've seen replies from Queen Sonja but so far I've never received a reply from the Norwegian RF.
I thought the time for Royal replies to my Christmas cards was over...but, turns out, it's not. Much to my surprise this came in the mail today.
Well, look what we have here. A reply from Princess Charlene to my birthday card to her. And I just love the envelope. When you turn it to the light, is has some sort of blue shimmer on it. It's absolutely beautiful.
