Looking back at your aurora and sage besties comic (its one of my favorites, only being beaten by were amy and sonic being a Simp) and I've got to ask, HOW DID YOU DO SAGES GLITCHING SO FRANKEN WELL??? IT LOOKS AMAZING AND I PERSONALLY LOVE HOW THOSE GLITCHS TURN RED WHENEVER SHES ON NEFARIOUS TIMING ARVDGDBABA

I do a lot of experimenting in Procreate until I find a technique I like. To achieve Sage's glitch, especially if she's doing something a little more wicked so her "red" side is showing, I'll start by drawing her in her blue version and her red version:
I'll select random rectangles from the red version and mask them/cut them out, so she's mostly blue but some red is showing:
I'll duplicate this layer and keep a copy of the "clean version" and apply effects to the duplicate. In Procreate, I'll use the "Glitch" effect and use the “Artifact” setting and mess with it until it achieves a result I like:
This may take several passes.
I duplicate the layers again, because again I always want to be able to go back if I don't like it. Then I'll play around with "chromatic aberration" under the “displacement” setting. She only needs a little for a subtle glitch effect, but if she's meant to look more menacing then I can go hardcore with it:
Then, I'll turn that original "clean" layer back on and I mask out the effect layer so only parts of it are coming through. When computers glitch, normally most of the image stays in tact and only some parts are scattered/messy so that's why I only have the effect in some areas.
I might even slide bits of those rectangles to the left or right. It's just a matter of playing with it until I like how it looks.

You know how people are always saying how they have the most vivid dream where they fall in love with someone or they have a child and it's so realistic and when they wake up they're devastated because it wasn't actually real?
That happened to me this morning. But of course it wasn't about a person or a baby or what have you. It was about Sonic lol.
I dreamt I was rewatching episodes of Sonic Boom, and during my marathon there was an episode I hadn't seen before. In it, Sonic was really sick and groggy but he refused to get any rest. This of course made him only more tired, groggy and dazed. But that's our stubborn boy, right?
So anyway, during the battle Amy does what she always does, kick Badnick-butt. And maybe because Sonic is a little loopy, he gets overly enthusiastic about it
Then unexpectedly he just rushes Amy and full on kisses her!
And in my dream I'm screaming, I can't believe I'm watching this! The kiss is so comedically romantic and over the top, too. The background fades out, Sonic and Amy are floating and spinning, Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" is playing, Badniks are flying in slow motion in the background and exploding into fireworks.
Then the shot fades to reveal that Sonic was JUST HALLUCINATING BECAUSE HE'S SO ILL AND GOT BRAIN FOG
But it didn't matter! It was a super well animated kiss in the Sonic show and in my dream I'm like "WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS? WHY AREN'T THERE GIFS OF THIS? WHAT WHAT WHAT" and so I rush on to tumblr to scream about it with you all.
How different would Boom!Baby be if Sonic and Amy were werehogs when Aurora was born? I bet they would've been one floofy family. Just imagine Aurora as a cute puppy.
I think a Werehog!Boom!Baby would have been so much cuter and also so much more dangerous at the same time! 😂
Werehog!Sonic would be even more territorial and watchful over his mate and unborn pup than normal, and even if anyone somehow miraculously made it passed him, Amy would also be extra violent if anybody tried to interfere.
If anyone did manage to try and kidnap them, they’d most assuredly be ripped to shreds 😬
But hey! Look away from the blood and focus on the sweet fluffy family and a cute little werehog puppy!
