It was supposed to be a check-up. Just a bloody check-up. Severus wished with all his heart that it would go unnoticed. But of course it wouldn't. With such a big amount of students showing signs of serious problems, the school hired the best phsicologists and phsichiatrists to check on the kids. But he still hoped that they would just tell him to ask his parents to take him to therapy. Yet, there he was, sitting in Dr. Anna's office, waiting for the revelation of what he'de been suspecting. "Severus's got depression." It wasn't well recieved by the family. Tobias started yelling at Dr. Anna. "THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!" He said "HE'S JUST A KID!" Eilleen, well, Eilleen started crying. She had depression herself and the last thing she wanted was her son to go through the same she was. As for Severus, his attemp to make a shocked face went totaly wrong and he ended up with a 'tell me something new' face. Luckily, Tobias didn't notice. He wasn't very good at reading expressions, half of the beatings were due to that fact. Times when he mistook a sad defeated face with a challenge one. When he stoped yelling at Anna, she handed Eilleen a recipe for anti depressants and told them to leave. But... Tobias would never let Severus take them, even tho they were free. He didn't want a 'sensitive weak son of bitch', like he said, on his house. He gave Severus even more housework, expecting that it would heal Severus' "drama". But of course it didn't. It would just overwelm him, and, a few time later, he got diagnosed with anxiety. Yet, Tobias still wouldn't take it serious. He would hit Severus when he saw him crying, while telling him how useless he was. Anna was dead worried, not seing any improvenment. One day, when she told Eilleen and Tobias to leave, Severus ended up telling her everything. Her face was just getting paler and paler as she heard what was happening. She procedded to help Severus, going to Spinner's End daily, making sure Tobias wouldn't overwelm him. After all, that strong eight year old that showed up in her office only a few months ago, had became more than a patient. He was a friend.
