honestly i think rin’s crush on shiemi is literally the cutest thing and the fact that he was so into her right from the get go and it was so OBVIOUS, but to shiemi who’s never had friends and never had any sort of situation where someone not only likes her, but loves her??? she remained totally oblivious up until --- what was it, chapter 73?
and then that whole shura arc happened so.

His voice is soft yet whiny as he leans away from the other, his friend’s whispered warning and pokes barely making the half demon stir enough to mumble unintelligibly. His mind is so clouded with drowsiness, and combined with the sluggish heaviness weighting down on him due to lack of sleep the night before, he won’t wake up or stay awake any time soon, despite being in class.
Darn it, he was so cute sometimes. Shiemi almost regretted having to wake him up but --- at this rate he would definitely get caught and possibly scolded. Carefully taking the book out of his hands, she propped it up on his desk; hiding him from the teacher’s gaze for the time being.
“ Rin! “ the poking changed to tickling. WAKE UP!

WH-WHAT AN INCREDIBLE HONOR? Shiemi can hardly believe it — she’ll have to plant twice as many flowers in her garden now!

Aaaah — it was so beautiful! Though she was nearly trembling with excitement, she kept as still as possible; hands firmly at her sides until the crown had been placed upon her head.
