๐ซTo Be A Man๐ซ
Thrilled I get to post my part of @ghostsharkpress โs transology zine before pride month ends. Our prompt was to recontextualize a formative childhood cartoon through the lense of transness/gncness.
These are thoughts Iโve had spilling around in my head for a while and seeing how important Treasure Planet was for me as a kid I thought it would be perfect. I always struggled with the fact I donโt really have any older male guide or figure to learn myself from so as a kid I tried to mimic the masculinity of shows or my peers. Growing older and wanting to step out of boyhood has really been a journey of self discovery and self worth and Iโm really proud of the person Iโm becoming.

Non binary office bat boogie!
This is probably my most well known embroidery animation. The main goal with this one was to see how complex I could make a character design in this medium and still have it be feasible to make. The answer is: about this complex, lol. After this one I began bringing in bits of fabric so that I could still have complex designs but make things a little faster for myself.
Some different frames from the non binary office bat boogie! The smear frames were my favourite part to sew.
