A bit different but aligned with this: I also feel people shouldn't label themselves and their blog as a safe space. Show with your actions, and what you post who you are, and then those who are part of a marginalized group can decide themselves if they consider your space a safe space. stop naming your pets after anime characters i just had to ask this person "are killua's testicles enlarged?"
like 2 weeks ago i had to ask "is nami's liquid diarrhea getting better?"
i helped this guy schedule a neuter for his dog named luffy once and this man tells me with a straight face "thank you for all your help getting luffy neutered"
But genuinely how is this worse than a pet having a human name, and you know a person with this name? This just seems awkward because the vet can't seem to separate the name from the character. What of your dad's name is Tom and you get in a cat that is named Tom. It would be the same right? So separate the name from the character or person you know.

Color picking skin color without considering the surrounding colors and overall tone/mood of the art work is never a good idea!
All those colors here are used as skin tones for the SAME character in various illustrations of mine.

In the mid-2000s, Daniel returns to his hometown for the first time since his twin sister, Alex, died. Resigned to living his life in the colorless grief he’s accustomed to, he is unprepared for his estranged friend and former bandmate, Denver, to burst back into his life. Denver convinces Daniel to rejoin the band, and the act of creating music together brings them closer than they've ever been. Just as their band seems headed for brighter future, Denver and Daniel realize falling in love in the scar that Alex left behind might prove to be their undoing.
Keeping Time is a queer, adult webcomic that's a bummer of a romance between two bandmates who fall in love. If you like deeply flawed, not-at-all wholesome characters, then I might be cooking up something you like!!

I drew this comic in 2022 as my final before graduating. This comic is a result of me watching video essays, documentaries and TED talks on cults on and off for like half a year. Cults are an insanely gruesome and fascinating topic and I really wanted to capture that feel of isolation, manipulation and a false sense of family in this horror comic. I would love to hear what you think of this comic. I put a lot of love and work into it and it's a very important project for me!
