My (really late) contribution for the seventh and last prompt, “Free Day”, of the SaboLu Week! In this crossover between One Piece and Pokémon, I imagined Ace, Sabo, and Luffy being raised by a Ninetales in its Alolan form. For the last day of the event I wanted Ace to have the same “weight” in the picture of Sabo and Luffy, since I consider the ASL trio, well, an “One Piece”.  :P  Dedicated to @d-op: thanks for being so patient with me even if I was really late with my last two submissions for the event…  ^^’ Poses reference for the ASL trio: Sleepy Kids III by Eirian-stock.

ASL Splatfest! (One Piece - Splatoon crossover) by MajorasMasks

My (really late) contribution for the sixth prompt, “Alternate Universe”, of the SaboLu Week! For this theme I drew Sabo, Luffy, and Ace as Inklings (Sabo is with blue hair since blond he looked bad). The illustration turned out a bit messy since I can’t still grasp Splatoon style, but I hope you like it anyway!  ^^ Since she loves both One Piece and Splatoon, I dedicate this fanart to @trecomics.  :)

Day 6: Alternate Universe

My (late) contribution for the fifth prompt, “Family”, of the SaboLu Week! For this theme I completed and refined a poem about Ace, Sabo, and Luffy that I had started to write a while ago. I used octosyllabic verses, please tell me if I should fix some words or even lines–any kind of constructive comment is precious to me!  :)

Brothers A cross to never forget three brotherhood-bounded, crimson cups as vivid as his burning heart dreaming to become Pirate King. Captain of eight, rushing ahead, towards his dreams and the unknown while wearing proudly a straw hat that is nothing less than a crown. For it, he’s grateful to a man who had made an audacious bet in the village of the windmills lapped by a peaceful, sky-blue sea. Back then, he met his two brothers and they became a family: loving and helping each other, searching for gold in a landfill. Nearby, a revolting city where a dragon the future saw as he patiently listened to a noble boy’s ashamed pleadings; A boy who is now his talons and who is fighting for freedom, he’s working from behind the scenes while changing his very own fate. Everlasting, the memory of their brother who in the war burnt down but whose fire’s still living: will he return for the One Piece?            

ASL trio on Mount Colubo

I’m behind on my schedule, so for the fourth prompt of the SaboLu Week I just made a simple edit of a photo I took of the ASL trio diorama from one of Megahouse’s Log Box sets.  :P I wonder if the correct transliteration of コルボ山 (Colubo-yama) should be “Mount Corbo”, an actual place in Bonifacio, Corsica (as you can easily check on Google Maps).  ^^

For this theme, I drew Sabo and Luffy as Lynians (a Felyne and a Melynx respectively) stumbling upon Ace (an appetising Poogie).  :P Dedicated to @chaotic-dawn, who made a couple of ASL-related giftarts for me a while ago.  ^^
