head base is done. needs more grinding and a more pronounced beak. this is all done using 3mm stainless steel wire, a little basic gasless mig welder (i have a gas mig which is neater but too powerful for fine work and i also have a tig but tig hard) and an angle grinder. lots of angle grinder.

small pieces of steel wire from a reel, I'd just cut a section, weld it, build up on it to create strength so i could angle grind it. it's a long process because it's a thinnish reel so it melts very easily
this took 2 hours my back hurts
