Ever wanted to see Thornolia for yourself? Well....thanks to Animal Crossing that wish is coming true!ย

This is something I have worked on for many months, and something I have wanted to share with all of my followers who also have this incredibly cute game! I spent over 800 hours meticulously building this island ever since drawing inspiration from a youtube video Iโ€™d seen. So while I take no credit for the layout of my island, I have built it up to be the Thornolia I know and love, complete with little hints and nods to the story, and plenty of areas to take some memorable photos (And if you do take any photos, please share them with me! I would love to see them)!

And...you should also be able to meet Oliver and Eleanor during your dream travels!ย

The Dream Address to escape to the world of Thornolia is: DA-0346-5140-6304

For those who do not have Animal Crossing, do not fret! I have plans to take lots of photos of my island in future, but after spending so much time on it I need a little break...maybe to....faciliate my storyโ€™s return? ;)ย

Anyways....Enjoy!ย

Amethyst Day Dress

I saw this top from the new Crystal Creations pack and it was like my prayers for a good V shaped bodice had been answered!

There are 34 swatches with the white belt pictured, the same 34 colours with a brown belt, and then 6 dark swatches for the fancy widows among you.ย

The shirt was borrowed from @zeussim's Lady Marina dress (found here).

Comte de Montavin: [Mutters] What on Earth?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Looks as if you've upset more than just Eleanor-

Comte de Montavin: Ernest. Il suffit.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: I'm merely stating facts, Gaston.

"I know he is here! I demand to see Monseigneur L'ร‰pin!"

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Perhaps you should answer the door, Monseigneur.

Monseigneur Oliver: Entrez!

Steward: [Knocks and Enters] Pardonnez-moi, Monseigneur, a Marquis de Solomont is adamant for an audience with you.

Monseigneur Oliver: [Sighs and sits] Let him through.

Steward: Monsieur. [Closes the Door]

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: This should be interesting.

[Door Opens]

Monseigneur Oliver: Rousseau.

Marquis de Solomont: Monseigneur. I will not forgive my forceful entrance. I demand to know why you lied to me of your intentions regarding Mademoiselle Aubert!

Comte de Montavin: [Scoffs] You cannot be serious.

Monseigneur Oliver: I did not lie to you.

Marquis de Solomont: Is that so? Then would you care to explain why you invited her to accompany you to the Prix de Thornolie, thus causing her to subsequently reject my invitation after she had already accepted!

Monseigneur Oliver: Your quarrel is with ma mรจre, Rousseau. I made no such invitation. It was she who sent the invitation against my wishes.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: I regret to say, he speaks the truth, Pierre.

Marquis de Solomont: And why should I believe you?

Monseigneur Oliver: Because the last person I would ever want to spend my days with is Mademoiselle Aubert. Why else would I have made the effort to introduce her to you?

Comte de Montavin: Listen to him, Rousseau. Neither he nor Mademoiselle Aubert care for one another.

Marquis de Solomont: ....Pardonnez-moi...I can see your words are true...

Monseigneur Oliver: [Sighs] It's quite alright.

Marquis de Solomont: It's only that her rejection to my invitation was so sudden...and I had planned to propose.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: So soon?

Comte de Montavin: Have you not only met her at all public functions? How can one make a decision so quickly?

Marquis de Solomont: Oui....but it all appears hopeless now.

Monseigneur Oliver: Rousseau.

Monseigneur Oliver: Perhaps I can offer you some assistance in order to rectify this situation. Are you interested?

Marquis de Solomont: I'm listening...

Comte de Montavin: She is impossible! To make me marry so soon? She only said the engagement would be made official at the end of the month, and now she's announced the marriage taking place shortly after!

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau:ย Cheer up, mon ami, I'm sure it's not that bad.

Comte de Montavin: [Scoffs] Easy for you to say. You're still free.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau:ย [Smirks] I am, aren't I?

Comte de Montavin: What say you, mon frรจre? You've said not two words since we arrived.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: You cannot still be stewing over Eleanor's rejection.

Monseigneur Oliver: [Takes a Drink]

Comte de Montavin: Mon frรจre, we will get to the bottom of it, I assure you.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: I'm not entirely sure he has much time...

Monseigneur Oliver: What are you talking about?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: I'm not sure I should tell you. She did reject you after all.

Comte de Montavin: Ernest.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: [Sighs] Fine. Roquefort was waiting to speak with mon pรจre before I left this afternoon.

Comte de Montavin: What does that have to do with-

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: He was there to ask for Eleanor's hand-

Monseigneur Oliver: I'll kill him.

Comte de Montavin: Oliver-

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: As much as I've enjoyed the childish rivalry between the two of you throughout the years, Eleanor is allowed to make her own decisions, even if that decision is not you.

Monseigneur Oliver: You know as well as I there is something going on with her. She's not acting like herself-

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Perhaps she's realised being with you is not in her best interests, regardless of her feelings for you.

Monseigneur Oliver: Or perhaps you're keeping information from me about why she's acting the way she is!

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: And what if that information is that she's made her decision to walk away?

Monseigneur Oliver: I swear to god, Ernest-

Comte de Montavin: Mon frรจre-

"Where is he? I demand to speak with le Monseigneur!"

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: I'll be back in time to change for dinner, Auclair. I'll need to be if not to receive another lecture from-Roquefort?

Vicomte de Vignieu: Bonne journรฉe, Valery.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Bonne journรฉe....that'll be all, Auclair.

Valet: Monsieur. [Leaves]

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Well this is certainly a surprise. What possibly brings you by? Surely it's too early to call on-

Vicomte de Vignieu: Oh, non...I actually came to speak with le Duc.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: [Sighs Dramatically] I suppose it was inevitable...

Vicomte de Vignieu: Pardon?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Hmm? Oh, nothing. Just off in my own thoughts I suppose....lots to do, people to see...I'm sure you of all people can understand.

Vicomte de Vignieu: Has anyone bothered to mention how tiresome you can be?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Perhaps...though I suppose hearing it once more from you couldn't hurt.

Vicomte de Vignieu: [Scoffs] I do not have time to verbally spar with you this afternoon, Valery. I was told le Duc would be in this afternoon?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: You were misinformed.

Vicomte de Vignieu: I sincerely doubt that.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: And just what, might I ask, has you so insistent to see him at this hour? He is a very busy man, after all.

Vicomte de Vignieu: If you must know, I've called on him to ask for Eleanor's hand.

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: ...

Vicomte de Vignieu: I don't think I've ever seen you without words, Ernest. Cat got your tongue, perhaps?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: Have you truly thought this through, Albert?

Marquis deย Clรจrisseau: And yet you stand here waiting to ask for her hand.

Vicomte de Vignieu: I do not need to explain myself to you.

Duc deย Clรจrisseau: Ah, Vicomte.

Duc deย Clรจrisseau: I do hope not to have kept you waiting.

Vicomte de Vignieu: Of course not, Monsieur. Bonne journรฉe. Your delay allowed me the opportunity to catch up with Ernest, here. It has been quite a while since we've had the chance to connect.

Duc deย Clรจrisseau: Ah, oui, oui. All of you used to be so close back in the day...but I suppose I have kept you waiting long enough. Shall we?

Le Jardin d'Avigneux:ย 23 Mai 1850, 13:30

Madame Adelaide: And Ernest truly helped ton frรจre escort you home?

Mademoiselle Violette: Oui, it was quite an affair! I was waiting for Oscar outside the post office and idly standing by when he rushed right into me! The tumble was quite severe, I was so unsteady on my feet and he helped Oscar assist me home. Truly, I am just as stunned as you are, though why he was rushing about the square I have no idea.

Madame Adelaide: It appears I owe Ernest more credit than I currently afford him. He does always seem to surprise me.

Mademoiselle Maybelline: And are you well recovered? When I last came to call Oscar mentioned you were still terribly unwell.

Mademoiselle Violette: I assure you I am quite well, though Oscar is still in quite a state. If it wasn't for la Douairiรจre I wouldn't have been allowed out for our weekly stroll!

Madame Maybelline: He's always been the...overprotective type. Mine would have left me on the sidewalk to rot.

Mademoiselle Violette: [Scoffs] Honestly, Maybelline...In all honestly I'm surprised he hasn't started breathing fire down the necks of every suitor who comes to call. Though I believe him too busy these days to notice.

Mademoiselle Maybelline: And what news from you, Adelaide? I hear Gaston is looking more weary with each passing day as his impending nuptials loom closer...

Mademoiselle Violette: Is that true? And here I thought the big conversation would be about Eleanor turning down le Monseigneur's invitation to join him at le Prix de Thornolie.

Mademoiselle Maybelline: Quoi? Where did you hear that?

Mademoiselle Violette: La Douairiรจre, of course.

Mademoiselle Maybelline: Goodness. Is this true?

Mademoiselle Maybelline: Adelaide?

Mademoiselle Violette: Madame?

Madame Adelaide: Quoi?

Mademoiselle Violette: Are you alright?

Madame Adelaide: Oh...pardonnez-moi. I...I thought I saw...

Mademoiselle Violette: What did you see?

Madame Adelaide: I...It doesn't matter...

Mademoiselle Maybelline: Must you always keep us in sus-

Madame Adelaide: Violette...do you think ton frรจre will still allow you to attend the Prix de Thornolie?

Mademoiselle Violette: Oh...I...Well, if he even tries to refuse, all I have to do is write to la Douairiรจre.

Madame Adelaide: And quite right, too.

Mademoiselle Violette: Are...are you sure you're alright?

Madame Adelaide: Of course, I am. Don't be ridiculous.

Mademoiselle Maybelline: Adelaide, you still have yet to answer my questions. Gaston certainly...

Palais de Thornolie, Salle du Trรดne:ย 22 May 1850, 15:30

[Murmured Chatter as Everyone Leaves the Room]

Le Roi Gaspard: I'm not certain any of us imagined you would clean up so well.

Comte de Montavin: [Dark Chuckle] Not sure I had a choice, Oncle.

Le Roi Gaspard: En effet. Arabella is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Let us hope for your sake your bride is not the same.

Comte de Montavin: Hmm....

Le Roi Gaspard: These things are never easy, Gaston.

Comte de Montavin: You mean having your hands tied behind your back?

Le Roi Gaspard: Given your proclivities I would be suprised if this was the first time.

Comte de Montavin: [Chuckles] I wasn't aware you knew.

Le Roi Gaspard: Ton pรจre has always kept me informed of your whereabouts, neveu. You should hardly be surprised.

Comte de Montavin: [Sighs] I suppose not.

Le Roi Gaspard: You have grown into an honourable man, Gaston. This may not be what you intended for your life, but-

Comte de Montavin: And how would you know?

Le Roi Gaspard: You are not the only one in this room who was forced into a marriage they didn't want.

Comte de Montavin: [Shocked] You and-

Le Roi Gaspard: Oui. The last person on this Earth I ever expected to be bonded to was ta tante. But forces beyond my control made sure I had no say in the matter. I was bombarded with a wedding, a wife, and a new path in life all in one evening.

Comte de Montavin: I...I don't understand. Who would have the ability to force you into marriage?

Le Roi Gaspard: Someone long since passed...

Comte de Montavin: Qui?

Le Roi Gaspard: ...It's not important. What is important is despite what is being burdened on your shoulders is not more than you can carry. Between ton pรจre, ta tante, and myself, you have been raised to overcome these challenges. Marriage is a fickle business, Gaston, but you have the knowledge and intelligence to manage those turbulent waters with ease.

Comte de Montavin: Did you truly just relate my impending marriage to my naval experience?

Le Roi Gaspard: [Chuckles] Merely making sure you're paying attention. Now come along, we mustn't keep ta tante waiting. I fear you've already endured her rath long enough, and I'm not sure I want to join you in your boots.
