There's still lot to design before BUP will be back in full swing but one important thing to figure out is RGB's shop! This greedy salesman got upgraded to a shop owner and he now owns Chromato-Mart in Spectrum city. Here's some concepting of his shop's interior and outside.

It's always crazy awesome to see how much my works got around and have been part of people's lifes. A dream of mine is that BUP will also mean just as much to some people as Random Doom, ICSSBMA and Cafe Cardamari did.
Is Tanrine’s frog some kind of franchise character in that world? Are there franchises that people buy from?
The frog pin is just a frog pin, nothing special about it.

I'll be starting an internship to study for a new job on Monday. If things go well, I'll start full time. Just wanted to share this as it will certainly affect my art making time but it also means I will get back to working on BUP. Just give me sometime to get used to things.

Clem's mom, Orenda works as a beekeeper for Ambrosia and she looks after special bee breed that is able to turn raw nectar into royal nectar/honey, that is then in turn mixed with carbonated water and flavors to create the drink so many spirits crave!
Even Mario World got some intense bugs for Clem and Whinter to fight.

Sure did! But unlike Inkopolis, Spectrum City has better health care and she was able to get her braces when she was way younger, snrk.

when a glass puts their things into their bottle does it act like a bag of holding? do they need to remember what they put in it? or is it like a pocket where can they just rummage around in there?
context: me and my friends were talking about infinibag type stuff
For how I have designed it, the items turn into wispy form and go into the bottle. The Glasses then pull them out. I'd imagine they need to remember and think about the item they wanna pull out. There is also a size limit. Don't expect them to store cars or anything like that. Now, can they forget stuff in there? I suppose so. What happens if they run out of nectar? I'd assume the items get spilled out as the bottle doesn't have any magic/energy to hold them.
so im now under the assumption that the little scene in the first bottle adventure where clem pulls out the basket is either no longer "canon" or is specific to her due to whatever condition she's got that we still know nothing about
That is still canon and doable. Bottle Rangers (what our main cast are) carry extra B.A.S.K.E.T.s in their bottle and can fill out multiple in one mission.

Does Sorrel still have the white in his hair, or has that been replaced for something more raccoonish?
I have not designed how his new hair could possibly look like. It shall remain a mystery for all of us for now

Ok. I've been around for a while. I keep popping in, but I could use a refresher on characters and such. Do you have a master post or something?
I DO NOT! I SHOULD. I am working on making proper Bio Sheets and making one for each character. And once the comic does come out of its hiatus, I will make a general "what-the-hell-is-BUP?" post and all. But yeah, the main cast currently is Marian, Whinter, Logan, Vadelma, Clementine, Tanrine, Taloupe and Angelo. Important side characters so far include Mico, Maxwell, RGB, Kirsikka and Whinter's family (Martin, Jaycob, Cloud and Garlen).
You can check character's name tag on this blog to find all the art of said character.
Whinter and Taloupe are one of those friendships you don’t think would work but do.
I mean... Whinter is just an appetizer Cosmo for Taloupe
