Goodbye and Thank you!

I’m not really in touch with the sims scene anymore so not exactly sure who’s around anymore and who isn’t but I thought it was finally time to make a proper statement and bring closure for this blog.

This blog is officially 7 years old this year and its insane! I rode out my last year of high school, went to college and got my bachelors, got my first full time job, moved states away from family, quit a job for the first time, got a new job and moved even further away all while having this blog. It’s very interesting to see yourself grow and change along the years.

This blog has been inactive for some time now, I know, but honestly I wanted to ride things out and see how I felt. It is evident to me that I’m just no longer interested in the sims like I use to be and I just really haven’t missed it so I think it’s officially time to bring an end to the narusasu-simblr saga and say goodbye.

My years here were absolutely wonderful. I’ve met so many great people here and learned so much! I was able to get through some of the hardest points in my life here, and like so many others, just forget everything happening on the outside. And overall, I just had so much fun! I would be lying if I also didn’t admit that there were a lot of hard times too and drama that I’m sure we’ve all experienced, but even though, I think those things have helped to shape me into the person I am today. For all of this I am extremely grateful and just want to say thank you to everyone who was a part of that journey. Thank you to those who were there for me for the long haul and those who I may have only spoken a couple words to. Thank you to everyone who sent me messages, liked, commented, or reblogged my posts. Thank you to everyone who used or uses my cc and just thank you for all the overwhelming love.

This blog will always remain open, as well as my side blogs, and downloads will always stay up (hopefully 🤞). I bid you all adieu and happy simming!

One year apart, still close friends

Hello everyone. I hope the weather is treating you all well. It’s been extremely hot around here, so we don’t spend many seconds indoors. Also, now that the big kids are home from school, I’ve been preparing myself for a bit more chaos, but so far, it’s been surprisingly calm. Max is having his little friend, Micah, over to play, so that’s really nice. These two boys haven’t seen each other for almost a year, but they are still as close as they were back then, which is lovely to see. Max has been so excited to show Micah his new garden, and the two boys are having lots of fun. Of course, both Max and Lumi were excited to show their new little sister to Micah as well, even though Clair didn’t seem as excited to see him at first. She has warmed up to him since, she’s just a little stranger shy, haha.

Micah and his family lives in Ériu Fe, so Max doesn’t see him as often as he would like to. Of course, we want to change that, so Micah’s parents and I will do what we can, to make it possible for the two friends to meet more often from now on. Right now, we will enjoy this first week of Summerbreak and Micah’s company, and then we’ll figure out the rest when Micah goes home on Sunday.

But I hope you’re all doing well out there. May you all have a beautiful day,

Where do you find good skin pictures?

Hey Anon, I honestly was wondering the same thing because Google never cuts it for me. If anyone can answer this question the world would much appreciate.

Meet Sam’s amazing parents!

Good afternoon everyone, we are currently all visiting Sam’s parents / the kids’ grandparents, and we are having such a lovely time. We arrived at their home yesterday at around 6pm, so it was right about time for dinner. We don’t know how long we will be staying yet, but pretty sure we’ll stay for the weekend, at least. Sam’s parents really want us to stay, haha. It’s been quite awhile, so they are happy to finally have us here. So let me give you a quick introduction: Sam’s father is the good-looking man with the long black hair. His name is Dakoda, but we call him “Koda” for short. And the lovely woman next to him, is Sam’s mother, Adaolisa. We call her “Lisa” or “Grandma Lulu,” and she is the kindest, most generous woman I have ever met. Also, can you believe they are both in their late 50′s? I mean, they really haven’t aged a day since I met them all those years ago!

While we are staying here, we might also run into Sam’s siblings before the weekend is over. Koda and grandma Lulu have five kids together - they can even relate to having multiplets, as they parent not only one, but TWO sets of twins! So, can you imagine the look on their faces when we told them we are having quadruplets?! They are also caring for their sweet 11-year-old granddaughter, Kimimela, since her mother (Sam’s twin-sister) passed away when Kimi was just a toddler. They are truly amazing people, both of them! Not only have they opened their hearts up to me, they have also fully accepted my oldest daughter as their own. Ellie is no different to them than their biological grandchildren, and I’m so thankful to have these people in my and her lives. They are always telling me how special this little girl is, and how she was meant to be part of their worlds, and I can only agree with them, 100 percent. Ellie loves her grandparents to the moon and back, and I’m so happy that all the kids are surrounded by so much love and acceptance.

Moving on, here are some photos:

Well, we ended up bringing all the kids to the nearby playground. It’s so beautiful, and we had a great time! The kids got along and behaved really well. I know Ellie is used to having younger kids around her, so it’s taken a little while for her and Kimi to start hanging out. It’s strange because Ellie is not a shy kid, but I guess it can be a little awkward to open up to someone older. Kimi is a good kid, but she is almost a teenager, so we can only hope their relationship won’t change too much over the next few years. Nonetheless, I’m sure they will grow to become close again. The twins, however, likes to be with the older kids, and Xochitl just loves anyone who will play with her!

Family means a lot to us, so it’s wonderful to be able to visit Sam’s lovely parents. We need to do that more often. For now, have this lovely photo of Sam and dear grandpa Koda. Until next time,

hi just a daily reminder to not be hard on yourself if your photos aren’t turning out nicely. i feel like we pressure ourselves into absolute perfection and it’s okay for you to go through creative blocks

and if your photos are exactly how you envisioned them, then be proud! sometimes we dissect the negative and never really compliment ourselves
