“Alright, you saved $5.60. Have a merry Christmas!” (Y/N) beamed as her hasty customer made their way out of her check line. Giving a short sigh, (Y/N)’s gaze shifted back to her endless long line of antsy customers. It was Christmas Eve, and the waves of late Christmas shoppers seemed to get larger and larger as the day progressed. (Y/N) didn’t really mind working on Christmas Eve as much as everyone thought. Her paycheck next week was gonna be very pretty considering holiday hours, and keeping her mind on the Christmas party Calvin and her are going to after work has definitely helped her shift go by quick. Just two more hours and she’ll be on the next metro bus back home.

(Y/N) smiled, “I can help the next customer in line!”
