Welcome to the first installment of “Character Review”, where I will rammble/rant/banter about a character in Receiver! Either it being their design, their conception, or simply what inspired me to create them~ Enjoy!

So I have a problem. A pretty big problem. It’s called “Turn minor characters into major characters” problem. It’s not a bad problem to have, per se. But it’s an issue of mine. But I digress because this is about Raghib.
Raghib is a “villain” introduced in the first major story in Receiver, in Chapter 01 - Episode 001. I use “villain” because... well... by the time I worked on Episode 005 he ended up becoming a major character. Haha! For those that remember I’m a serial minor-character-to-major-character abuser.
This is going back a decade to one of my larger original stories, 3 Pillars, that has a character that simply started off as a background person that ended up becoming a fan favorite, so I turned him into an actual honest-to-god character. Do you remember Luz? He’s one of the first.
