the basement key is in the room at the top of this 1st floor map, in the room with the bars! when you come back out of that room, the thing spawns next to the table and runs past the door towards you. i wasnt sure if i just need to figure out how to get past him and out of that room faster, or if i am supposed to be able to successfully defeat him by myself at this point

Shift: Dang I haven’t played in a very long time I don’t even remember that bit! I’ve been meaning to play the game again but until I get an emulator I just have to rely on memory. Which is failing me! I’m sorry hun!

Dear friends and commissioners,

I would first off like to thank every one of you who have been supportive of me and my art in any way. Without you, my work is meaningless. It was a pleasure and an honor being a part of your year.

In 2024, I intend to change how I work in order to focus on personal projects. Until now, I've always had commissions open due to my poor financial situation. Although I'm still not doing any better, in order to focus on what I need to, this upcoming year I will open up to 5 slots each month, or less, depending on how my workflow goes. I will continue advertising my commission sheet every so often, but feel free to contact me at any time to know if there are any slots available.

I want to thank again everyone who trusts me with their requests, and am especially thankful to those who had to wait a bit more than usual due to my mental health issues.

I will try my best to keep creating (fan)art for us despite all the work I've taken upon me in this year that's coming up. Please remember that a way to show you care, like and support what I do is to buy me a ko-fi, if you think I deserve it.

Lastly, I wish you all a wonderful new year, filled with joy and good health!! Thank you for everything!

Hello everyone!

First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! I hope you all have a fantastic time and that new years brings us all good fortune.

In regards to the game, I stopped working on it months ago because of several personal reasons. I have not, however, given up on the project, and I hope to continue working on it as soon as I better organize my to-do list.

Earlier this year, I disabled anon asks because of the amount of hate I got from people who were unhappy with the remake and how I ended the first versions of the game. I think it's been enough time since all that happened, so I'm deciding to enable anon asks again. If I get any hate messages again, I'll just block the user immediately. This is also a good opportunity to casually remind everyone my great friend @shiftatmebro is helping me administrate this page (though there has been nothing much to do so far).

But yeah, that's it I guess! I'm sorry the progress has been so slow, but I really do want to work hard and remake my version of HetaOni again.

A huge thank you to all of you who have been so kind and supportive of me and my work.

did that person save the game to the zip? it takes a while after you close the game to allow it to save it to the zip, you have to allow it to create a new file after you exit the game, and that can take a bit of time. (for me it was usually 1-2 whole minutes after I closed the game.) I had the same problem when I played it in May, so I'm guessing that's what happened.

Oh yeah, that's right!! You have to unzip the file for the saves to work!! Thanks for the reminder @batatapako !!

Hello there!

Hi guys!! Cookie here.

It's been a while since I updated you guys regarding game production stuff! I'm really sorry to say that life got really, really busy and I haven't had the time to touch the game in months.

Now, I still want to continue working on this project, of course. It's just that I've been doing my best attending to a preparatory course so I can try getting admitted to a public university to study medicine. I'm trying to change the course of my life itself, but it's a very hard task and I'm really unsure I'll make it this year. I am doing my best, however, so we shall see!

The tests will be in October 22nd, November 5th and November 12th. You don't need to know the dates lol but I'll be studying until then!

Apart from studying, I have, of course, to work on commissions (and another game project) because, again, I am an adult and being an artist/indie game dev is my job lmao

So yeah, TL;DR is, I have other priorities at the moment, so I can't work on the game. I'm sorry about that! But I still fully intend to continue this project when I have the time!

I hope you all can understand! Thank you for your support so far, and my ask box is open (just not for anonymous) if anyone wants to talk! 💖

I'd love to help, but unfortunately, I can't afford to take on yet another project because I have way too many of my own going on right now :,) I'm sorry! I downloaded HetaOni just a few days ago, (Late to the party i know,) and I absolutely LOVED it !! <3 It shattered my heart, and then put it back together again, a constant cycle. I loved the ending but the 2P's were devastating and I love that a video game could make me feel that. You are absolutely amazing at what you do, creating video games and making art and all - and I suppose part of me thought I had to let you know that. First of all, I'm so sorry for taking so long to answer to this. Life has been incredibly busy, I haven't been able to use my computer often!

I've just checked Hetaoni Tumblr for the first time in a year and omg I'm so elated at the fact your re-doing the game, Hetaoni has always intrigued me as the plot itself forces more raw emotional reactions and development with the Hetalia cast due to the circumstances of being trapped within a confined area, as well as the time travel and magic aspect of the game making my SCP fan heart jump with joy! I have no clue on game developing but I wish you the best in re-making Hetaoni!
