Statement about recent events! Just my two cents. TL;DR I don't condone the stuff Scott did, but I will still support the franchise and continue to be a fan 👍

Rough time to be a fnaf fun, huh lmao. I am a poc and queer myself, so I of course support lgbtq+ and those of all races. Black lives matter, stop asian hate, no more stolen sisters, trans rights, pro choice, every religion (or lack thereof), all of that and more I support! So hearing Scott made some donations to very right wing politicians who are...less than stellar did suck.

I feel a little torn about it. I know I don't really know Scott, it's all just a parasocial relationship. But I just can't bring myself to think he is a completely terrible person. I have to thank him for creating something I love, but clearly I stand on the other side of the aisle to him in many ways.

He was really great to the community and donated a lot to great causes, but I cannot overlook his flaws and act like he's done no wrong. I know he isn't horribly racist/homophobic/etc seeing as he works with progressive companies and queer folks, but seeing those donations definitely speaks volumes. It almost feels like having a problematic family member lol.

All that said, I still love this franchise and will continue to financially support it. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism so it's up to personal discretion, you can separate art from the artist, yadda yadda etc. I just don't think we should have to force ourselves to stop loving something we have for a long time because suddenly the creator did bad stuff. Besides, fnaf basically belongs to the fans anyways!

If you feel the need to unfollow because of that I understand. I'm excited to see who the new creative head of fnaf will be and I hope it is someone who will make great things (and be progressive haha).

Anyways, anyone still excited for security breach? I am! I think I'm going to try to start using this blog a bit more again 😁

FNAF TSE Graphic Novel Preview

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have an official preview for the Fnaf Silver Eyes graphic novel courtesy of Apple Books (and maybe Amazon I haven’t checked there yet!).

The designs for the main characters of Charlie, Carlton, Jessica, and John look pretty good. Not great, but good. The art style is ok and it is nicely designed and colored. I’d love to hear your guy’s thoughts on it so far. I’m excited to see what William looks like as well as the other characters.

I will definitely be purchasing the book and will give an in-depth review of the book, plot, characters, art… But with what we have so far the book can’t get here soon enough! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!! Book comes out around December 27! Make sure to follow my blog for more FNAF!
