I have COVID,

BUT I WANT TO GO HOME AFTER I AM BETTER. PLEASE HELP ME.

I knew it, there was a gut feeling I had when I was tested last week. That gut feeling you get when you know there is nothing but dread ahead. And now here it is. Thank you for your support on getting me tested. For reblogging, I appreciate it so much 😭

But now I would need to rally again because I want to go back to the US. I want to be with people who understands me better. Because even if I really want to finish college here, I think it will be downhill from here. I will not care so much if I will be homeless over the holidays as long as I am in my own soil. Because I am alone and lonely here in the philippines. Because I am scared of dying alone amongts people who don’t know me or accept me, yes, I am a black, bisexual woman. And it is not very common here so it could be why I am not getting enough respect or civility here. Please help me go home. I know plane tickets are expensive, from the last time I checked, from Cebu, it is at about $1400 but I will bury my shame and ask again for help. I don’t have a solid plan of where I will stay but I am asking some people already of what I can do when I get there. I will not stay in anyone’s home, it will be risky for them and I understand that. I will find a way. Thank you for the offers. Now I just really need to get over this virus and then go back home.

I feel horrible for posting this link especially with Covid and the holidays passing but not posting this where people could potentially see doesn't feel right.

Just yesterday morning my cousin's house burned down. This has left my grandpa, aunt, cousin, and her daughter completely homeless with nothing and a winter storm is approaching in the upcoming days. My main concern is for my cousin's daughter who is under the age of 12 who has to live with this tragedy.

While it's not required to donate, if anything could be spared to help them out I would be forever grateful. Reblogging is highly encouraged.

Hello everyone, my name is Emily. I’ve been asking Tumblr for a lot of help over the past month, because everything has been up in the air with me. Well, I want to make sure I don’t neglect the needs of my adorable cat, Socks.

Look at that precious face! Socks, as you can see, is a black cat, and was 8 years old when I adopted her. That makes her less likely to have been adopted, which factored into my decision to adopt. The other factor was that she warmed right up to me, sitting on my back as I was laying down in the interview room.

Now you might think “Emily, shouldn’t you be responsible enough to care for your own cat? Or, if you’re not, you shouldn’t own a cat!” And on the surface that looks like a decent argument to make. But did you know that each year, 860,000 cats are euthanized because they cannot be adopted? That makes me very sad, so I try to do my part and take in animals that are less likely to be adopted. And all I need to make it work is an annual funds drive to get her the shots she needs to be happy and healthy!

The amount I need is $122. This will cover rabies, distemper, and a check-up.
