The Padalecki's sure knew how to throw one helluva a party but it was more of a family gathering than anything else, close friends thrown into the mix. The extravagant rustic home was filled with glowing light, soft music and the kitchen island had been turned into a wet bar. Bottles of wine, liquor and juice lined the granite surface, seated next to glasses that sparkled and twinkled in elegant rows.
Y/N skirted the outside edges of the party, unsure of why she had been summoned there to begin with, looking for her close friend Genevieve, Jared's wife. Her attire leaned more towards the casual side instead of dressy like some party goer's-- tight blue jeans, ankle boots and a low cut red sweater. Her eyes scanned her overall surroundings and in truth, she didn't know who half these people were.
Y/N suddenly stopped, her heartbeat increasing. Her breathing became more labored, palms clammy against the wine glass her delicate hand was wrapped around. She shook off the feeling and managed to find Genevieve seated at the dinning table, Odette standing in front of her as Genevieve finished braiding her hair. Odette ran over to Y/N, throwing her arms around her thighs and then scampered off in search of her brothers.
Y/N tipped her head back and laughed, her shiny locks grazing her shoulder blades, exposing the soft column of her throat to hungry eyes...
