Whoa! A comic! And it’s an annoyingly long post! Sorry about that.

Nothing particularly original about this comic (I’m sure it’s been done a million times before). My Breath of the Wild comics are drawn with the mindset that Zelda is the playable character, not Link *cough* do it Nintendo *cough*. If this comic bummed you out, if it helps any, this comic is a prequel to this sad Zelda comic (where Fi is there for some reason).

Normally it takes me a long ass time to draw a high end comic like this, but I got this done way faster cause I did all the sketching in Photoshop and then did the line art and other stuff in Clip Studio Paint rather than doing the whole comic process in Clip Studio Paint. For the sake of reference, this comic only took a week to draw where as the last time I drew a comic this fancy it took me an entire month.

Here’s the official drabble/oneshot/whatever of the headcannon I posted awhile back! Sorry it took so long, I wrote it… only to forget about its existence until like ten minutes ago. Since I wrote it so long ago and my writing has improved it’s definitely not my best work and it doesn’t help that I’m just too lazy to go back and edit. Anyway, I hope you call can tolerate my crappy writing and that you enjoy!

The wind howled, shaking the pine trees furiously and kicking up clouds of snow from the ground. The young princess gripped her coat tightly, trying to keep warm. “I knew we shouldn’t have come today, it’s too cold,” She rubbed her gloved hands together and blew on them, watching steam cloud around them. 

“Zelda, are you alright?” The h/c haired Champion questioned their friend, concern in their gaze. The two had been close since childhood, so when y/n was chosen to wield the Bow of Light, Zelda was ecstatic that her best friend would become one of her appointed knights. 

“Thank you for your concern, y/n, but I am doing fine.” The (h/c)ette rose an eyebrow as if challenging their friend. The blonde was quivering, her teeth chattering from the windchill. 

“I should have an elixir in here somewhere that’ll help. You should have told me sooner!” Their voice was soft, but the princess noticed the sternness in her friend’s tone. 

Y/n lifted the lid of the satchel delicately, eyebrows furrowing as they rummaged through the potions, clothing, gems, and monster parts. No one understood how y/n and Link could keep so much in their small bags. It was as if both bags were a portal to another dimension where they kept all their items. 

When the sunset orange elixir came into view, y/n snatched it and handed it to their friend. “Here, drink up.” The princess gratefully took the bottle and drank its contents, a look of satisfaction on her face.
