SYNOPSIS
Nuovis Farlynn is many things – a performer, storyteller, lover of opulence, blooming witch of the northern elves and a criminal of both high and low profile. Nowadays performing whenever the opportunity of a few coins arise, she took on a job offered by a wayward noble who quite openly despises her but needs her services, some of which are hard to come by and high in demand. Their deal is straight-forward: steal the Meranthan Dominium’s most prized flagship so Theodosius can continue on his hopeless journey while Nuovis herself can take the next step towards becoming a pirate.
But of course, plans seldom work out, and as Nuovis has to deal with her own devils both old and new, it quickly becomes apparent that there is more to piracy than freedom, bloodshed, alcohol and gold. She was always a person to remain in the spotlight, but that isn’t necessarily a good quality when it gets her and her new allies tangled in a war they cannot win on their own. Things turn sour, as they usually do. Figures.
But she knows she’s the one weaving her threads, and that has to be enough. A salvation and a curse.
Or is she mistaken?
