Im obsessed with Gallavich height dynamics right now so let me ramble.
I mean look at them! So young and small and they're practically eye to eye. They're on equal ground entering this relationship but Mickey's attitude makes him bigger, gives him the control he needs and Ian sees past all of that vibrato but lets him have it anyway.
And then Ian shoots up like a big ginger weed during That Summer™ and Mickey couldn't get taller but he could grow facial hair better than Ian ever would and he would prove it because he's got to find a new way to seem bigger and in control. But man does he love the way Ian can crowd him now, make him tilt his chin up to meet his eye.
And then they're older and there are no more growth spurts and they have fallen naturally into fitting into each other because Ian's arm feels comfortable over Mickey's shoulder and he's got the perfect angle to plant a kiss into Mickey's hair and get a whiff of his favorite scent.
I just love thinking about how much they've grown up together.
