As soon as Grogu touches his face, Din closes his eyes, almost in pain. This is the first living thing to touch him in 3 decades! I can't imagine the physical and emotional sensory overload this was causing.

But then he opens his eyes and smiles with love, accepting the touch, maybe comforted by it.

This has got to be the most profound moment of his life. And then he has to stand there and watch his son be taken away.

I'm never going to be ok about this.
