every single time ever a website has tried to make its desktop experience more similar to its mobile experience it made everything irrevocably worse. if i wanted the mobile experience i would use my fucking phone. put that user interface back where it was or die one thousand deaths.

Matt absolutely knew what he was handing Marisha with that scene at the Cobalt Soul re: Zeenoth but I have no idea if he knew how much it would hit to the heart of both his wife and the community.
Like I can’t get over it. He said! I might not be able to set the things right for you that happened in the world we live in, but I created this one and I love you, and I see you. And I am feeling some type of way. That was for Marisha. But we all got to be part of it. That kindness, that love has so many ripples.
I don’t care about being famous if it’s not something I can use to affect people exactly this way on this kind of scale. What else is the point. Truly, what else is there but kindness when it’s in your hands to provide.
