my initial thoughts/feelings are… relief to finally know the plan, slight panic because 2025 feels far and inaccessible, worry for their emotional/physical wellbeing (it’s not a vacation), admiration because they’ve handled this so well and with care, and sadness because change is hard, I’ll miss them, and hope me and my army friends near and far can make it through.
