I NEED a book series about the next generation Bridgertons growing up , like imagine:

• Anthony, Benedict and Colin literally losing their minds over finding their daughters the perfect match, if you thought they was protective over their sisters imagine how they would be over their daughters/nieces

• Uncle Benedict and Auntie Sophie being the favourite family members to stay with - you get very spoiled

•Every niece wants a husband that looks at them the way Uncle Colin looks at Aunt Penelope

• Aunt Eloise is always at your service when you want to prank your parents/siblings/cousins

•As the nephews got older they liked to go to Uncle Michael for womanly advice

•Uncle Anthony is the first person to go to when is trouble, that man can fix anything

•Aunt Daphne and Uncle Simon throw the best parties every year, it’s the favourtie social event of the season

•You never mess with Aunt Hyacinth, she can freeze you with a glare

•Aunt Francesca is the best at giving advice, she always keeps a level head and always keeps your secrets

•The entire family gathers together at Aubrey Hall for Christmas and a few summer games of Pall Mall. Everyone is scared of Aunt Kate during the game- she’s very competitive (especially if Uncle Anthony is playing)

•Uncle Colin likes to turn up just before it’s bedtime, get the children excited with sweets, create noise, a huge mess and then leaves with a mischevious grin at his siblings

• Grandma Violet spends an equal amount of time at the homes of each child and their family- she’s never ever lonely

•The children love it when Aunt Francesca and Uncle Michael visit- they always bring Scottish sweeties and biscuits

• Although Uncle Philip is quiet- he knows everything that’s going on in the family, he’s a good listener

• There’s a competition between Uncle Gregory and Uncle Gareth of who can think of the naughtiest joke (But Aunt Eloise eventually won)

•Aunt Kate’s dog Newton is treated with supreme respect- he’s the goodest of good boys after all

•Uncle Colin will only share his biscuits if you can successfully tackle them from him

• One of the nieces found a box full of Lady Whistledowns, sharing them with her cousins they loved listening to their families love stories- none of them could quite believe it when they discovered Whistledown was Aunt Penelope!!

•Although Oliver and Amanda aren’t blood related- none of the cousins ever treat them with anything less then love and affection

• The nephews (and some nieces) were taught how to shoot by Aunt Eloise, something the Bridgerton brothers refuse to discuss

• Uncle Simon will always help his nephews make up an excuse to leave a party - he remembers how scary those mamas on the prowl for a son in law can be

• It’s every man for himself when trying to choose a Pall Mall mallet- everyone’s after the Mallet of Death

•It’s not considered a successful family game of charades if there hasn’t been a massive argument, followed by someone storming out the room

• Aunt Daphne is always overly affectionate, but all the cousins secretly love the attention she gives

•You can turn up to any of your Auntie/Uncles house with no notice at any time of the day or night and always be welcome to stay for however long you want

• Uncle Benedict burst out crying when he sees one of his nieces sketches of him with ‘the best uncle’ scribbled at the top. He tells anyone who will listen that she will have work in the National Gallery

• Nothing better then Christmas at Aubrey Hall, it’s a very noisy dinner but the entire family gather outside for a snow ball fight

•It’s not uncommon to catch a tear in Grandma Violets eye, she will alway say nothing is wrong but really she is wishing Edmund was there to see how happy her children and grandchildren are

ok but reverse emma au where colin is a matchmaker who gets fran and michael together and is extremely pleased

(pen is like… this isn’t actually your doing and colin pretends he can’t hear)

meanwhile, pen really likes colin but violet has some weird rule about how none of her younger sons are allowed to get engaged until anthony does… so now this is also a reverse 10 things i hate about you au

bc pen is like… let’s find anthony a wife.

and colin is like - nah anthony will never get married. oh here’s kate sheffield! let’s get her together with <some other character>

except in the process of being an idiot, colin realizes he actually loves pen and wants to propose… but he needs anthony to be engaged first. so together he and pen realize kate and anthony should be together. 

and so, naturally, shenanigans ensue

When I listen to music

15 Reasons Why Monica Geller Is An Unappreciated Character

1: Fed all of her friends almost every day for ten years without complaining.

2: Excelled in a traditionally masculine career, (yes, cookery as a profession is generally male-dominated) and in traditionally masculine hobbies (football), without compromising her femininity or sexuality.

3: At the same time, revelled in traditionally female interests such as babies, marriage and housework without apologizing for them, or suggesting they made her inferior or weak.

4: Overcame teenage obesity.

5: Grew up in an emotionally abusive home, with a mother who subjected her to relentless criticism and verbal mistreatment….But still emerged with a sense of her own self-worth, determination to fulfil her dreams and huge capacity to care for others.

6: Stayed friends with her brother who bullied her as a child, and contributed to said-emotionally abusive home. Didn’t blame him for her mistreatment or show resentment towards him.

7: Took former best friend – who abandoned and rejected her for a ‘high society’ life – into her home without question.

8: Prior to this, accepted a woman who had previously lived on the streets, as her roommate and welcomed her into her group of friends.

9: Went through unemployment and shitty jobs, but refused to take unfair advantages she hadn’t earned (i.e. Pete buying her a restaurant). Eventually gained a prestigious head chef position based entirely on her own merit.

10: Walked away from the man she thought was the love of her life, because she wanted children and he’d only have them to make her happy. Even though that option would have been 100 times less painful for Monica, she knew that wasn’t fair on him and refused.

11: After marrying the actual love of her life, she waited until Chandler was ready to have kids, because she knew about his fears of raising children. When they discovered virtually the only option for children was sperm donor-ship (so they’d be her kids but not his), she refused and insisted on adoption. 

12: Was also the one-woman cheerleading team for the aforementioned love of her life, in telling him he could be the amazing boyfriend, husband and father that he never saw in himself. Was proved 100% right.

13: Resisted her control-freak coping mechanisms to give Chandler the power of making the big decisions about their future, (saying ‘I Love you’, moving in together, marriage), so he could work through his commitment phobia. Again, proved it was 100% worth it.

14: Encouraged her husband to quit a job he hated, then supported him – financially and emotionally –through his subsequent unemployment and helped him find his dream career.

15: Never, ever fucking gives up on anything or anyone. 

Rey’s and Ben Solo’s journeys so far + literary motifs

Kylo: WOAH WHATS THIS FLUFFY BIRD DOING HERE-

Just gotta say, I see/hear a lot of people saying reylos are really reaching and trying to make romantic connections that just don’t exist in the Last Jedi… But I absolutely HATED reylo before TLJ. Full on despised it. Anytime I saw anything reylo, I’d start complaining about star wars shippers and how bad Rey and Kylo would be for eachother. I remember right before I walked into the theatre, I told me friends that the worst thing that could happen in this movie is if they make Rey and Kylo kiss. I walked out of the theatre upset that they didn’t.

Reylo just makes sense. TLJ portrayed their relationship as equally balanced. Rian presented Rey as capable, powerful, and compassionate and Kylo as scared and confused. They are both searching for an answer to their inner problems and Rian made them the answer. I don’t understand how anyone could watch TLJ and not at least see this.

tl;dr TLJ turned me from an anti to a reylo because it was just so kriffing well done.
