a bouquet i made for my mom for mother’s day. for whatever reason(s), i tend to acquire useless skills (for myself), but at one time, flower design was extremely fascinating to me, like creating a colorful puzzle from scratch. this bouquet (for the right reasons) was a joy to make and give.
‘care’ - this piece is attached to the wall (about 5ft from the floor), and is viewed by looking down at_ the collage is four pieces on a wood block. this is the second flat collage that i made while working for Wu Yee Children’s Services. i made this after one of the forums.

this is the 2nd bottle-collage i worked on when i was first starting to get into collage in 2004. it's the bottle that made me realize i wanted to get deeper into collage, and into creating in general. it took about 4 months to complete, and it has a shellac finish. it was a birthday gift.
'the dreamer' - collage-sculpture
sometimes things get a little out of hand. there's an olive oil bottle (with the top cut off) under all of this paper. there's another section that attaches to the back of this piece (that's similar in size and is shaped like a ship). this piece is about my father who was an engineer and spent most of his free time diving all of the seas. i wanted to wire him into this ship (seated on a throne). the 'wires' were made with thousands of re-constructed graffiti shapes and images. because of the scale of the 'wiring', i've found that this piece is almost impossible to photograph adequately. it's called 'the dreamer'. the whole process was extremely interesting and rewarding to me.
