Goodbye Tumblr

Hi guys,

Life has been a bitch quite complicated for me these past months. I’m still unable to draw aside from work due to sight problems, and I’ve come to realize lots of things I used to love were actually toxic to me for many reasons. Let’s go straight to the point : I don’t feel good on Tumblr anymore, and there’s no way I could stay here any longer. Maybe I’ll start a new blog on blogspot again, in french only (I’m not fluent enough in english and I can’t stand anymore the effort each time I want to show /say something on the web). Or maybe not. Who knows?

Anyway, it’s time for me to move on and try to recover some balance if I want to feel good again. Thank you all for following me here until now, I wish you all the best!

The spider webs on Boursin’s stick have magic properties.By getting them through the smoke of his calumet, he can weave spells and open portals. In the dew drops caught on them in the morning, he can see the past and present of people he’s searching for. And recently, after the arriving of the small salamander beeguh to the farewell camp, he discovered that they can also catch small spirits in their trap.

This was a very traumatic experience… for Boursin I mean, the salamander and her spirit are doing fine, thank you. X’D

Hohoho, the colors of my second beeguh fit so well the frame that it seems it’s been done on purpose ! (Bien joué Giz ! X’D)

Imbolc is coming and the shamans of Okhong haven’t hibernated this year in order to bring you new companions from the frozen lands. They haven’t been numerous to face the cold of the trip until our little sanctuary and we hope you’ll give them a warm welcoming.

Let them get some rest for now and have just a sneak peak at the new incomers, before we introduce them to you on this first week-end of February.

Don’t forget some beeguhs still haven’t got the chance to be adopted and are waiting for someone too.

A little fanart of Jo from the webcomic Jo ! The most badass cowgirl out there. If you haven’t already, go and take a look to this webcomic. The pitch is great (you’ll meet badass women, the most precious cows ever and some very, very interesting neighbours) and the strips are wonderfully made. It’s available both in french and english (just mouse over the picture to get the english version).

2016 Art Summary by JackPot-84 Well, 2016 has been... a weird year for me. I can't say anything bad happened to me personnally but all I can recall of it right now is a lot of weariness, anxiety and sadness. I just hope I'll be feeling better in 2017 (insert cynical laugh here). Anyway! Next year I want to focus more on my drawing. I've noticed only recently that I've been a bit carried away by making my comic in exaggerating too much my character's proportions. I don't want to become a self-caricature and lose all control without even noticing it 8'D So I'll try to be more careful about it and reach a better harmony in my style. By the way if you see something I should try to improve, or something wrong with my drawings, please tell me! I kind of miss the time when internet was the place we could give each other constructive criticism and good advice to improve our art and skills together. Wish me luck and hard work ^^!
