Imagine the shock when self driving cars are everywhere, and an old person dies en-route to a family gathering or dinner party and just turns up dead

I Don’t Need You

Pairing: Dean x Reader Words: 788 Requested by @lovemydean-o-saur:  Dean x reader where they get in a fight and Dean tells the reader he doesn’t need her, but then realizes what he said and tries to make it up to her?

Warning: slight angst

The Impala was tense. No one had said a word for at least three hours. Sam was the last one to try. But when he was met with silence from you in the backseat and a glare from his brother from behind the wheel, he had joined the silence.

When the bunker came into sight, you made your game plan. You’d grab your duffle, go inside, and go straight to the guest room. You would not be staying in the same room with Dean. You knew that would lead to a fight. You both needed to cool off before you spent any more time together.

The first steps of your plan went off well. You grabbed your duffle bag and you were the first inside the bunker. But as soon as your hand touched the doorknob to the guest room, Dean was right behind you, “What are you doing?” he asked.

“We need some time,” you said, trying not to let your voice raise.
