“Ideas hm? Such as?” Scarlet inquired.
Once more Scarlet left Olivia alone on the second floor balcony. The dragon returned to the same closet where she’d grabbed the ladders. When she returned again cleaning supplies were in tow. They were divided into two identical sets and Olivia’s was set on the ladder closest to her.
From there the Dragon Lord got to work cleaning the window. She started on the side furthest from her guest for now. A slap and a peck on the cheek. They were two different actions with different feelings behind them, and they hadn’t been too far apart. It was still a bit confusing. Was Olivia grateful or angry?
At least she stood up for herself… Scarlet thought.

The dancer worked in silence, still slightly mortified by the action she had

taken just a few minutes prior to them cleaning. She was happy to be in

the other’s company, but Scarlet had pushed her luck way too far with

   the statements she had made.

          “ O-Oh. . . Hello. “

Head did duck down, feeling the need to feel even smaller despite their height

    difference.

“ Is there something I c-could do for you? “

<*⛵*> “Don’t think of it as me watching. Think of it as a dance lesson. I’d really appreciate it, Olivia.”

“ Are you interested in learning to dance, Sarah? “

Despite the other’s words, she couldn’t help, BUT pause in her dance.

After all, it had been a few years since the two had gotten to meet up.

≪💐≫”Are you quite alright?”

“Of course, darling!”

“I do believe that your welfare is more pertinent. Have you practiced those lines I taught you?”

≪💐≫”I-I did, but do I really have to say those?”

It was apparent the effect it had on the dancer, as her face immediately turned red, hands going to cheeks.

Palutena had been watching. Up to this point she had used her own hand to guide the hurt woman through subtle pushes from the wind to falling rocks. She was so close to safety and had now given up. The goddess gave a sigh as she turned, deciding that perhaps she shouldn’t intervene any further.
I can’t…
It was the only thought that escaped her mind. Palutena descended on angelic wings backed by divine light. Every time her heart got involved she couldn’t turn a blind eye. Especially not to someone so pure.
“You’ll live.” She encouraged while kneeling beside Olivia. “Let me see your wounds please.”

≪💐≫”W-Who are you?”

Olivia knew that no matter who it was, she was left at their mercy. She slowly turned herself, so the leg was exposed to the other. Swollen, bloody... It was an awful sight and a wonder she had even made it this far in it’s condition.

Clouded vision studied the one in front of her... She had never seen someone like her before... Was she glowing? No, surely it was the rain messing with her eyes.

≪💐≫”... I can’t go on...”

She collapsed to the ground, curling herself into a ball. She was bleeding too heavy from her leg... Nothing she seemed to do would stop it either. Why did it have to end like this?

≪💐≫”It’s alright, I understand… I’ve had trouble just getting by since I’ve came here…”

She had followed along eagerly, knowing that he would keep her safe. He always had, hadn’t he?

     “I just… I can’t believe it’s you…”

Hand reached up to gently stroke his cheek. She bit her lip…She supposed in a way… This was ironic somehow, this whole meeting up again.

“It’s me alright, flesh and bones. Bruises and scars. Red streak and all.” He half joked, giving a small laugh as he rested his cheek against her palm. However, something in his heart pained him.

He slowly pulled her hand away, keeping it in his own, frowning as he looked at her.

“Why are you here, Olivia…? Did something happen back home? Did something bad happen to Chrom?” He asked. He tried to push all the affection he wanted to give her away. After all, she was a married woman. Speaking of…

“…Where’s your ring, Olivia?”

≪💐≫”I... Had to put it away. Since... Since well.”

Eyes started to well up... How many emotions could she possibly have in this moment? Too many, that was what she thought about this.

“I’ve been here six months... I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back so... I... Put it with my keepsakes. I don’t think he’d want me to cling to something I may never get back. It hurts though...”

Oh how he wanted this. He wanted this for what seemed like years. However, he had to hold his emotions. After inhaling sharply, he slowly let it out. He gently hugged her as he slowly placed his hands onto her shoulders, pulling her off the other. “Olivia… It’s so great to see you again. You have no idea how happy I am.” He smiled brightly at the other, the first genuine smile in some odd time he was here. However the smile didn’t last a whole minute.
“Quick, come with me.” After tugging the other into his quarters, he locked the door as he let out a big sigh. “Sorry… Nohrians aren’t like Ylissians or Feroxians.. They’re hard to trust, and even harder to get their trust.” He told her as his smile slowly returned.
“It is so great to see you again…” He let out a gentle whisper.

Scarlet was a bit stunned. Was the peck on her cheek a kiss of gratitude? She had no way to be sure until she asked. Now set in that the Dragon Lord moved to the bedroom to do the back of her hair up in a bun, leaving the long bangs in front be despite the trouble they’d most likely provide.
From here Scarlet went to the supply closet and hauled three ladders out individually and began setting them up by the large stained glass window on the balcony that over looked the pews below.
“No matter how many times I come up here I’m still never certain if I should keep this balcony. All it does is wrap around the room and surely the space could be used for something else.” Scarlet commented to herself as she looked below.

≪💐≫ “Hmm... I might have a few ideas for it.”

She murmured, as she looked up at the sky, judging how much sun passed this way. She was thinking, perhaps she could turn it into a small garden on the balcony... Surely that would liven things up a bit.
